Claims (4)
- 광원과, 이 광원에서 발생된 광을 광디스크에 집속하는 대물렌즈와, 광디스크의 반사광으로부터 신호를 검출하는 광검출기를 구비한 광픽업장치에 있어서, 상기 광검출기에서 검출된 신호로부터 광디스크의 종류를 판별하는 광디스크 검출부와, 판별된 광디스크의 종류에 대응하는 포커스 옵셋을 산출하는 포커스 옵셋 산출부와, 상기 포커스 옵셋 산출부에서 산출된 포커스 옵셋량을 조정하여 포커스 서보신호로 바꾸어주는 옵셋 조정부와, 상기 포커스 옵셋 조정부에서 조정된 포커스 서보신호와 상기 광검출기에서 검출된 신호를 이용하여 포커스 및 트랙 오차를 보상하는 포커스/트랙 서보가 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광디스크 검출부와 포커스 옵셋 산출부 사이에 상기 광디스크 검출부에서 판별된 광디스크의 종류에 대응되는 광스폿의 크기를 설정하는 스폿크기 산출부가 더 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업장치.
- 광원과, 이 광원에서 발생된 광을 광디스크에 집속하는 대물렌즈와, 광디스크의 반사광으로부터 신호를 검출하는 광검출기를 구비한 광픽업장치의 광출력 제어방법에 있어서, 상기 광검출기에서 검출된 신호로부터 광디스크의 종류를 판별하는 단계와, 판별된 디스크의 종류에 대응하는 포커스 옵셋을 산출하는 옵셋산출단계와, 산출된 포커스 옵셋량을 조정하여 포커스 서보신호로 바꾸어주는 포커스 옵셋 조정단계와, 조정된 포커스 서보신호와 상기 광검출기에서 검출된 신호를 이용하여 포커스 및 트랙 오차를 보상하는 단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업장치의 광출력 제어방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 옵셋산출단계 이전에 판별된 광디스크의 종류에 대응되는 광스폿의 크기를 설정하는 최적 스폿크기 산출단계가 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업장치의 광출력 제어방법.
