Abstract
Description
本開示は、繊維シートが複数枚積層された積層体を備え、該積層体は、型に沿って折り曲げられる折り曲げ予定部を有し、前記積層体における折り曲げられる側の端辺から前記折り曲げ予定部までの領域においては、前記積層体は前記積層体の板厚方向に沿って複数層に分離されている複合材を提供する。
以下、本開示の一実施形態に係る複合材及びその成形方法について、図1〜図4を用いて説明する。
まず、本実施形態に係る複合材について説明する。
図1Aに示すように、本実施形態に係る複合材1は、繊維シートが複数枚積層された積層体2を備えている。積層体2は、不図示の型に沿って折り曲げられる折り曲げ予定部3を有している。繊維シートは、賦形可能なドライなものであってもよいし、樹脂を含浸したプリプレグ(樹脂複合材料)であってもよい。
次に、本実施形態に係る複合材の成形方法について説明する。
以下では、図1Aに示す複合材1を用いて複合材1を成形(折り曲げ成形)する場合を一例として説明するが、これに限定されない。
準備工程においては、図1Aに示す複合材1を準備する。複合材1の準備にあたっては、繊維シートを積層しながら圧着し、第1領域5において分離されていない積層体2の各層間、及び第2領域8における積層体2の各層間を接着し一体化させておく。
引抜工程においては、複合材1から、積層体2の各層の層間に設けられた離型材6を全て引き抜く。これにより、図1Bに示すような離型材6が引抜かれた複合材1が得られる。
成形工程においては、複数層に分離されている積層体2のうち、次に折り曲げる方向(図中の時計回り方向)側の積層体2から順に、折り曲げ予定部3に沿って一層ずつ折り曲げて複合材1を成形する(図1C〜図1E)。複合材1の成形に当たっては、複合材1を不図示の型に配置し、油圧プレスや真空引きにて折り曲げ成形を行う。なお、図1C〜図1Eでは、複合材1をL字曲げする場合を一例として示している。
繊維シートとしてドライなものを用いた場合は、複合材1の成形が終わったら、複合材1に樹脂を含浸させる。
繊維シートとしてドライなものを用いた場合は、樹脂含浸工程が終わったら、複合材1の硬化を行う(硬化工程)。繊維シートとしてプリプレグを用いた場合は、成形工程の後、樹脂含浸工程を行わずに複合材1の硬化を行う。図1Eに示す複合材1を硬化することにより、図2に示すL字曲げされた硬化後複合材10が最終製品として得られる。
本実施形態の複合材1では、成形時に折り曲げられる領域5(折り曲げられる側の端辺4から折り曲げ予定部3までの領域5)において、積層体2が積層体2の板厚方向に沿って複数層に分離されている。従って、複数層に分離されている複合材1を一層ずつ順次折り曲げて、複合材1を成形することができる。これにより、板厚の厚い積層体を一度に曲げて成形するときに生じていたような、皺の発生や所望形状が得られないといった問題の発生を防止することができる。また、板厚の薄い積層体を複数用意し、順次成形するときに生じていたような、工程数の増加や位置合わせの手間等の問題の発生も防止することができる。また、積層体の複数の層間にシートをそれぞれ挟み込み、これらのシートを一度に引き抜きながら折り曲げる成形を行うときに生じていたような、シートと積層体間に生じる摩擦力が増大してシートの引抜が困難になる(複合材の成形が困難になる)問題の発生も防止することができる。

- 繊維シートが複数枚積層された積層体を備え、
該積層体は、型に沿って折り曲げられる折り曲げ予定部を有し、
前記積層体における折り曲げられる側の端辺から前記折り曲げ予定部までの領域においては、前記積層体は前記積層体の板厚方向に沿って複数層に分離されている複合材。 - 前記折り曲げ予定部に対して前記折り曲げられる側の端辺とは反対側の領域においては、前記積層体が前記積層体の板厚方向に沿って一体化されている請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記複数層に分離されている前記積層体の各層の層間には、離型材が設けられている請求項1又は請求項2に記載の複合材。
- 繊維シートが複数枚積層された積層体を備え、該積層体は、型に沿って折り曲げられる折り曲げ予定部を有し、前記積層体における折り曲げられる側の端辺から前記折り曲げ予定部までの領域においては、前記積層体は前記積層体の板厚方向に沿って複数層に分離されている複合材を準備する準備工程と、
前記複数層に分離されている複合材を、前記折り曲げ予定部に沿って一層ずつ折り曲げて前記複合材を成形する成形工程と、を有する複合材の成形方法。 - 前記準備工程において、前記複合材として、前記折り曲げ予定部に対して前記折り曲げられる側の端辺とは反対側の領域において、前記積層体が前記積層体の板厚方向に沿って一体化されている前記複合材を準備する請求項4に記載の複合材の成形方法。
- 前記準備工程において、前記複合材として、前記複数層に分離されている前記積層体の各層の層間には、離型材が設けられている前記複合材を準備する請求項4又は請求項5に記載の複合材の成形方法。
- 前記成形工程において、前記離型材を介して前記複合材を折り曲げる請求項6に記載の複合材の成形方法。
- 前記成形工程の後に、成形された前記複合材と前記離型材とを硬化する硬化工程を行う請求項7に記載の複合材の成形方法。
- 前記準備工程の後に、前記複合材から前記離型材を引き抜く引抜工程を有し、
前記成形工程において、折り曲げツールを用いて前記複合材を折り曲げる請求項6に記載の複合材の成形方法。
