(2)上記したアルミン酸塩化合物から選択される少なくとも二種類のガーネット化合物を端成分としてなる固溶体
(3)上記したアルミン酸塩化合物のいずれかの固溶割合が60mol%以上、特に80mol%以上の固溶体であるガーネット化合物
(4)上記したいずれかのアルミン酸塩化合物の構成元素の一部を別の元素で置換して組成を変形させたガーネット化合物であって、電荷補償を伴わないもの
(5)上記したいずれかのアルミン酸塩化合物の構成元素の一部を別の元素で置換して組成を変形させたガーネット化合物であって、電荷補償を伴うもの
(6)上記(1)乃至(5)から選択される少なくとも二種類のガーネット化合物を端成分としてなる固溶体
(1)珪酸塩化合物であるLu2CaMg2(SiO4)3

Claims (16)
- Ce3+で付活された無機蛍光体からなる第一の蛍光体を含む第一の蛍光体層と、
Ce3+で付活された無機蛍光体からなり、前記第一の蛍光体とは異なる第二の蛍光体を含み、前記第一の蛍光体層と離間して設けられた第二の蛍光体層と、
前記第一の蛍光体層と前記第二の蛍光体層との間に設けられた光学フィルターと、
前記第一の蛍光体及び前記第二の蛍光体の少なくとも一方を励起する光を放つ励起源と、
を備え、
前記第二の蛍光体は、前記第一の蛍光体が発する第一の蛍光の少なくとも一部を吸収する光吸収特性を有し、
前記光学フィルターは、前記第一の蛍光体が発する第一の蛍光の少なくとも一部を反射し、前記第二の蛍光体が発する第二の蛍光を透過する、発光装置。 - 前記第一の蛍光は、490nm以上560nm未満の波長範囲内に蛍光ピークを有し、
前記第二の蛍光は、560nm以上660nm未満の波長範囲内に蛍光ピークを有する、請求項1に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第一の蛍光体及び前記第二の蛍光体の少なくとも一方は、ガーネット型の結晶構造を持つガーネット蛍光体である、請求項1又は2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第一の蛍光体は、Y3Al2(AlO4)3、Y3Ga2(AlO4)3、Lu3Al2(AlO4)3及びLu3Ga2(AlO4)3からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つを母体としてなる蛍光体である、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第二の蛍光体は、Lu2CaMg2(SiO4)3を母体としてなる蛍光体である、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記励起源は一次光を放ち、前記光学フィルターは前記一次光を透過する、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記一次光は、420nm以上470nm未満の波長範囲内にピークを有する青色光である、請求項6に記載の発光装置。
- 前記一次光はレーザー光である、請求項6又は7に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光学フィルターは、440nm以上460nm未満の波長範囲内の光線透過率、及び、610nm以上630nm未満の波長範囲内の光線透過率よりも、490nm以上560nm未満の波長範囲内の光線透過率が小さい、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。

- 前記励起源が放つ一次光と、前記第一の蛍光体が放つ第一の蛍光と、前記第二の蛍光体が放つ第二の蛍光とを含む出力光を放つ、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記出力光は、相関色温度が2500K以上8000K未満の白色光である、請求項12に記載の発光装置。
- 前記出力光の平均演色評価数Raは80を超える、請求項12又は13に記載の発光装置。
- 前記出力光の特殊演色評価数R9は30を超える、請求項12乃至14のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記出力光は、照明光又は表示画素として利用される、請求項12乃至15のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
