(3)前記車両には、前記駆動輪側の回転速度と相関のある回転速度を車軸回転速度として検出する回転速度センサが設けられることが好ましい。この場合、前記制御装置は、前記バッテリが出力可能な最大出力を算出する算出部を備え、前記回転電機制御部は、前記最大出力が低いほど、前記車軸回転速度と前記待機回転速度との差が小さくなるように、前記待機回転速度を制御することが好ましい。
(5)前記回転電機制御部は、前記第一断接機構を再接続させる際の同期時間が所定時間以内になるように前記待機回転速度を制御することが好ましい。

本実施形態の制御装置5は、図1に示す車両10に適用され、この車両10に搭載されるトランスアクスル1を制御する。この車両10は、駆動源としてのエンジン2と走行用のモータ3(電動機,第一の回転電機)と発電用のジェネレータ4(発電機,第三の回転電機)とを装備したハイブリッド車両である。ジェネレータ4はエンジン2に連結され、モータ3の作動状態とは独立して作動可能である。また、車両10にはEVモード,シリーズモード,パラレルモードの三種類の走行モードが用意される。これらの走行モードは、制御装置5によって、車両状態や走行状態,運転者の要求出力等に応じて択一的に選択され、その種類に応じてエンジン2,モータ3,ジェネレータ4が使い分けられる。
図3は、本実施形態のトランスアクスル1を備えたパワートレイン7のスケルトン図である。図2及び図3に示すように、トランスアクスル1には、互いに平行に配列された六つの軸11〜16が設けられる。以下、クランクシャフト2aと同軸上に接続される回転軸を入力軸11と呼ぶ。
次に、図3を用いてトランスアクスル1の構成を詳述する。なお、以下の説明において、「固定ギヤ」とは、軸と一体に設けられ、軸に対して同期回転する(相対回転不能な)歯車を意味する。また、「遊転ギヤ」とは、軸に対して相対回転可能に枢支された歯車を意味する。
上述したトランスアクスル1では、パラレルモードでの走行中にモータアシストが不要であれば、第一経路51上に介装された第一ドグクラッチ20を切断し、モータ3を出力軸12から切り離す。なお、本実施形態では、上記の通り、走行モードの選択、ドグクラッチ20,30の断接状態、エンジン2やモータ3等の作動状態を、すべて制御装置5が制御する。以下、これらの制御のうち、第一ドグクラッチ20を切断するときの制御(以下「モータ切り離し制御」と呼ぶ)について詳述する。
図7は、上述したモータ切り離し制御の内容を説明するためのフローチャート例である。このフローチャートは、制御装置5において、車両10の走行中に所定の演算周期で実施される。なお、車両10の走行モード(EVモード,シリーズモード,パラレルモード)は、このフローチャートとは別に設定されるものとする。
(1)上述した制御装置5では、エンジン主体で走行するパラレルモードで所定条件が成立したら第一ドグクラッチ20が切断されるため、モータ3の連れ回りを防止できる。これにより、従来の弱め磁束制御が不要となることから、電費を向上させることができる。また、第一ドグクラッチ20の切断中にモータ3の待機回転速度Nwを可変制御することから、第一ドグクラッチ20を係合させるときの同期時間を短縮でき、第一ドグクラッチ20を係合することになれば、速やかにクラッチ係合を実現できる。これにより、車両10の動力性能の低下を防止でき、動力性能を確保することができる。
上述した実施形態では、車両10の前側にエンジン2及びモータ3が搭載された二輪駆動のハイブリッド車両を例示したが、上記のモータ切り離し制御は、図1中に二点鎖線で示すように、車両10の後側にリヤモータ3Rが搭載された四輪駆動のハイブリッド車両にも適用可能である。すなわち、車両10が、前輪8を駆動するフロントモータ3(第一の回転電機)と、後輪Rを駆動するリヤモータ3R(第二の回転電機)とを有する車両であってもよい。
上述したモータ切り離し制御の内容は一例であって、上述したものに限られない。例えば、上記実施形態では、運転モードがノーマルモードである場合とスポーツモードである場合とで、待機回転速度Nwを設定するときに用いるマップを変更しているが、運転モードにかかわらず共通のマップを使用して待機回転速度Nwを設定してもよい。また、マップの代わりに数式等を用いて待機回転速度Nwを設定してもよい。

従来は、このような違和感を与えないように、弱め磁束制御を実施することで高速走行時に意図しない回生ブレーキが生じることを防いでいた。しかし、弱め磁束制御の実施には電力を消費することから、電費向上の観点からはこの制御の実施は好ましくない。また、例えば、上記の特許文献1のように、エンジン走行中にモータを動力伝達経路から切り離すクラッチを設けることも考えられる。

しかし、油圧式の摩擦クラッチ(例えば多板クラッチ)を設ける場合には、油圧回路やオイルポンプを設ける必要があり、装置の大型化や複雑化は避けられない。一方で、機械式のクラッチ(例えば噛み合いクラッチ)を設ける場合には装置の小型化や簡素化を図れるが、一旦クラッチを開放すると、そのクラッチを再接続するためには、少なくとも回転を同期させる必要がある。すなわちこの場合は、クラッチの再接続に時間がかかり、車両の動力性能が低下するおそれがある。

本件の車両の制御装置は、このような課題に鑑み案出されたもので、電費を向上させるとともに動力性能の低下を防止することを目的の一つとする。なお、この目的に限らず、後述する発明を実施するための形態に示す各構成により導かれる作用効果であって、従来の技術によっては得られない作用効果を奏することも本件の他の目的である。

(1)ここで開示する車両の制御装置は、走行用の駆動源として設けられバッテリと電力の授受を行なう第一の回転電機、及び、前記駆動源としてのエンジンを備えた車両の制御装置である。前記車両には、前記第一の回転電機から駆動輪に至る第一動力伝達経路上における第一断接機構と、前記エンジンから前記駆動輪に至る第二動力伝達経路上における第二断接機構と、前記駆動輪側の回転速度と相関のある回転速度を車軸回転速度として検出する回転速度センサと、が設けられるとともに、前記第二断接機構を係合状態にして前記エンジンの動力で前記車両を駆動する第一走行モード(いわゆるパラレルモード)と、前記
第一断接機構を係合状態にするとともに前記第二断接機構を切断する他の走行モード(いわゆるEVモードやシリーズモード)とが設けられる。前記制御装置は、前記第一走行モードで所定条件が成立すれば前記第一断接機構を切断する断接機構制御部と、前記第一断接機構が切断されている場合に、前記第一の回転電機の待機回転速度を可変制御する回転電機制御部と、前記バッテリの給電能力を算出する算出部と、を備える。また、前記回転電機制御部は、前記給電能力が低いほど、前記車軸回転速度と前記待機回転速度との差が小さくなるように、前記待機回転速度を制御する。

(2)前記算出部は、前記バッテリが出力可能な最大出力を前記給電能力として算出し、前記回転電機制御部は、前記最大出力に応じて前記待機回転速度を制御することが好ましい。
(3)前記算出部は、前記バッテリが出力可能な最大出力を前記給電能力として算出し、前記回転電機制御部は、前記最大出力が低いほど、前記車軸回転速度と前記待機回転速度との差が小さくなるように、前記待機回転速度を制御することが好ましい。

(4)前記回転電機制御部は、前記最大出力が所定値以下では前記待機回転速度を前記車軸回転速度に一致させることが好ましい。
(5)前記回転電機制御部は、前記第一断接機構を再接続させる際の同期時間が所定時間以内になるように前記待機回転速度を制御することが好ましい。
(6)前記車両には、前記走行モードとは別に複数の運転モードが設けられていることが好ましい。この場合、前記回転電機制御部は、前記複数の運転モードのうち、電力及び燃料の少なくとも一方の消費を抑制したエネルギー抑制モードが設定されている場合には前記待機回転速度を0に設定することが好ましい。

- 走行用の駆動源として設けられバッテリと電力の授受を行う第一の回転電機、及び、前記駆動源としてのエンジンを備えた車両の制御装置において、
前記車両には、前記第一の回転電機から駆動輪に至る第一動力伝達経路上における第一断接機構と、前記エンジンから前記駆動輪に至る第二動力伝達経路上における第二断接機構とが設けられるとともに、前記第二断接機構を係合状態にして前記エンジンの動力で前記車両を駆動する第一走行モードと、前記第一断接機構を係合状態にするとともに前記第二断接機構を切断する他の走行モードとが設けられ、
前記制御装置は、
前記第一走行モードで所定条件が成立すれば前記第一断接機構を切断する断接機構制御部と、
前記第一断接機構が切断されている場合に、前記第一の回転電機の待機回転速度を可変制御する回転電機制御部と、を備える
ことを特徴とする、車両の制御装置。 - 前記制御装置は、前記バッテリが出力可能な最大出力を算出する算出部を備え、
前記回転電機制御部は、前記最大出力に応じて前記待機回転速度を制御する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記車両には、前記駆動輪側の回転速度と相関のある回転速度を車軸回転速度として検出する回転速度センサが設けられるとともに、
前記制御装置は、前記バッテリが出力可能な最大出力を算出する算出部を備え、
前記回転電機制御部は、前記最大出力が低いほど、前記車軸回転速度と前記待機回転速度との差が小さくなるように、前記待機回転速度を制御する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記回転電機制御部は、前記最大出力が所定値以下では前記待機回転速度を前記車軸回転速度に一致させる
ことを特徴とする、請求項3記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記回転電機制御部は、前記第一断接機構を再接続させる際の同期時間が所定時間以内になるように前記待機回転速度を制御する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記車両には、前記走行モードとは別に複数の運転モードが設けられており、
前記回転電機制御部は、前記複数の運転モードのうち、電力及び燃料の少なくとも一方の消費を抑制したエネルギー抑制モードが設定されている場合には前記待機回転速度を0に設定する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記車両には、前記走行モードとは別に複数の運転モードが設けられており、
前記回転電機制御部は、前記複数の運転モードのうち、加速性を重視したスポーツモードが設定されている場合には、前記スポーツモード以外の運転モードが設定されている場合よりも前記第一断接機構を再接続させる際の同期時間が短くなるように前記待機回転速度を制御する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記車両には、前記走行モードとは別に複数の運転モードが設けられており、
前記所定条件は、前記複数の運転モードのうち、加速性を重視したスポーツモードが設定されていないことを含む
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の車両の制御装置。 - アクセルペダルの踏み込み操作量に基づいて要求出力を推定する推定部を備え、
前記所定条件は、前記要求出力が所定の出力値以下であることを含む
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記車両には、前輪及び後輪のいずれか一方の車輪を駆動する前記第一の回転電機と他方の車輪を駆動する第二の回転電機とが設けられ、
前記所定条件は、前記第二の回転電機が出力可能な最大出力の方が、前記バッテリが出力可能な最大出力よりも大きいことを含む
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記車両には、前記エンジンの動力で駆動されて発電することで前記バッテリに電力を供給する第三の回転電機が設けられるとともに、前記第二断接機構を切断して前記エンジンを停止した状態で前記第一の回転電機及び前記第二の回転電機の少なくとも一方の動力を前記車輪に伝達可能な第二走行モードと、前記第二断接機構を切断して前記第三の回転電機で発電した状態で前記第一の回転電機及び前記第二の回転電機の少なくとも一方の動力を前記車輪に伝達可能な第三走行モードとが設けられ、
前記断接機構制御部は、前記第二走行モード又は前記第三走行モードでの走行中に前記第一の回転電機を使用せず前記第二の回転電機の動力で前記車両が駆動される場合には、前記第一断接機構を切断する
ことを特徴とする、請求項10記載の車両の制御装置。
