また、特許文献2に記載の液晶表示装置においては、対応するデータ信号が出力されるように制御する制御手段及びアドレス設定が必要であるので、構造が複雑となり、また、断線の対応に手間がかかるという問題がある。
(実施形態1)
図1は、実施の形態1に係る液晶表示装置の構成を示すブロック図である。図1に示す液晶表示装置は、一面に画素P(図において破線で囲って示す)が、列方向(図1の上下方向)及び行方向(図1の左右方向)にマトリクス状に配列された液晶パネル100を備える。なお、図1においては、画素Pの一部を示している。
実施形態2においては、第2ソースラインに第4ソースラインが並設されている。実施の形態2に係る液晶表示装置の構成について、実施の形態1と同様な構成については、同一の符号を付してその詳細な説明を省略する。図4は、二本の第2ソースラインSL2x,SL2y及び第4ソースラインを示す模式図である。図4においては、画素P及びゲートラインGLの図示を省略している。

- マトリクス状に配列された画素に含まれるスイッチング素子と、
行方向に並設され、各列の前記スイッチング素子夫々にデータ信号を印加するための複数の第1データ信号線と、
列方向の一端部において、列方向に並設され、複数の前記第1データ信号線に重なっている二本の第2データ信号線と、
列方向の他端部において、列方向に並設され、複数の前記第1データ信号線に重なっており、前記第2データ信号線に接続された第3データ信号線と、
一方の前記第2データ信号線における一の前記第1データ信号線に重なる部分に設けられ、他方の前記第2データ信号線に向けて突出する第1凸部と、
他方の前記第2データ信号線における他の前記第1データ信号線に重なる部分に設けられ、前記一方の第2データ信号線に向けて突出する第2凸部とを備える
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1凸部及び第2凸部は複数あり、
前記一の第1データ信号線及び他の第1データ信号線は隣り合っている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 隣り合う前記第1凸部間には、前記第2凸部が挿入される第1凹部が形成され、
隣り合う前記第2凸部間には、前記第1凸部が挿入される第2凹部が形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記一方の第2データ信号線の線幅は、前記第1凹部において前記第1凸部よりも細く、
前記他方の第2データ信号線の線幅は、前記第2凹部において前記第2凸部よりも細い
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記一端部において、前記二本の第2データ信号線に対して列方向に並設され、複数の前記第1データ信号線に重なっている第4データ信号線を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか一つに記載の液晶表示装置。
