Description
この場合、熱交換器は2つの表面に複数の放熱フィンを備えるため、熱交換率がさらに高まる。
[熱交換器の全体構成]
図1は、本実施の形態による航空機エンジン用の熱交換器の斜視図である。本実施形態の熱交換器1は、ファンを備える航空機エンジン(図示せず)の湾曲面に沿って配置される。
図1を参照して、放熱フィン20は、航空機エンジンのファンの回転軸Xに対して交差して延びる。より具体的には、放熱フィン20は、航空機エンジンの湾曲面のうち、熱交換器1が配置される湾曲面上を流れる旋回流AF1に沿って延びる。
図3を参照して、表面3に配置される放熱フィン30も、放熱フィン20と同様に、回転軸Xに対して交差して延びる。より具体的には、放熱フィン30は、表面3上に流れる旋回流に沿って延びる。上述のとおり、表面3は湾曲面と対向し、かつ、湾曲面と隙間を設けて固定されている。したがって、表面3と湾曲面との間には、旋回流が流れる。
第1の実施の形態では、熱交換器の表面に形成された複数の放熱フィンは、互いに平行に延びる。つまり、各放熱フィンが回転軸Xとなす交差角は一定である。しかしながら、表面上に、互いに交差角の異なる複数の放熱フィン群が形成されていてもよい。
上述の実施の形態では、放熱フィンは全長にわたって、熱交換器の表面を流れる旋回流に沿って延びている。しかしながら、放熱フィンのうち、少なくとも、旋回流の流入側(入側US)に配置される部分(以下、入側部という)が、旋回流に沿って延びていれば、上記効果がある程度得られる。この場合、入側部は回転軸Xと交差して延びている。
上述の実施の形態では、放熱フィンの入側部、又は、入側部及び出側部が、表面上を流れる旋回流に沿って延び、放熱フィンの残部は回転軸Xに沿って延びている。しかしながら、少なくとも、放熱フィンの入側上縁が旋回流に沿って延びていれば、旋回流は放熱フィンの間に流入しやすく、熱交換率が高まる。

- 航空機エンジンの旋回流が流れる湾曲面に配置可能な、航空機エンジン用の熱交換器であって、
前記湾曲面に沿って湾曲している板状であって、流体が流通可能な流路を内部に含み、前記湾曲面と対向して配置される第1の表面と、前記第1の表面と反対側の第2の表面とを有する本体と、
前記第1及び第2の表面の少なくとも一方の表面上に配列される複数の放熱フィンとを備え、
前記放熱フィンは、板状であり、前記旋回流の流入側に配置される入側上縁と、前記入側上縁と反対側であって前記旋回流の流出側に配置される出側上縁とを含み、
前記入側上縁は、前記ファンの回転軸と交差し、かつ、前記入側上縁での前記旋回流の流れる方向に沿って延びる、熱交換器。 - 請求項1に記載の熱交換器であって、
前記出側上縁は、前記ファンの回転軸と交差し、かつ、前記出側上縁での前記旋回流の流れる方向に沿って延びる、熱交換器。 - 請求項2に記載の熱交換器であって、
前記放熱フィンは、前記放熱フィンが配列された前記表面における前記旋回流の流れる方向に沿って延びる、熱交換器。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の熱交換器であって、
前記複数の放熱フィンは、
少なくとも前記入側上縁が第1の交差角で前記回転軸と交差する複数の第1の放熱フィンと、
少なくとも前記入側上縁が、前記第1の交差角と異なる交差角で前記回転軸と交差する複数の第2の放熱フィンとを含む、熱交換器。 - 請求項4に記載の熱交換器であって、
前記第1の放熱フィンは前記第1の交差角で前記回転軸と交差し、
前記第2の放熱フィンは前記第1の交差角と異なる交差角で前記回転軸と交差する、熱交換器。 - 請求項1に記載の熱交換器であって、
前記放熱フィンのうち、前記入側上縁を含む部分は、複数の前記放熱フィンの配列方向に曲げられている、熱交換器。 - 請求項2に記載の熱交換器であって、
