Abstract
Description
しかしながら、特許文献1のガラスは、低い紫外線透過率(TUV)を満足しているものの、色が濃くなることにより、視界確保の点で要求を満足できていない。また、特許文献2のガラスは、発明者らの検討によると、粘度が100ポアズのときの温度が高く(1443℃)、ガラス製造が難しい場合がある。
SiO2 66〜75%、
Na2O 10〜20%、
CaO 5〜15%、
MgO 0〜6%、
Al2O3 0〜5%、
K2O 0〜5%、
FeO 0.2〜1.2%、
Fe2O3で表した全鉄 2.4〜4%、
TiO2 0%超1%以下、
を含有し、CoOを50〜400質量ppm含有し、Seを0〜70質量ppm含有し、Cr2O3を0〜800質量ppm含有し、CoO、SeおよびCr2O3の合量が0.1質量%未満であり、板厚3.5mmでの紫外線透過率(TUV)(ISO9050:2003)が2%以下であることを特徴とする紫外線吸収性ガラス物品を提供する。
まず、3.5mm厚さで、可視光透過率(TVA)は5%以上15%以下であることが好ましく、7%以上13%以下がより好ましい。また、3.5mm厚さで、日射透過率(TE)は20%以下であることが好ましく、15%以下がより好ましい。
3.5mm厚さで、紫外線透過率(TUV)は2%以下であることが好ましく、1%がより好ましい。
また、上記光学特性に加えて、3.5mm厚さで、主波長λDが485〜580nm、刺激純度が45%以下であることが好ましく、刺激純度が41%以下であるガラスが特に好ましい。
本明細書を通じて、日射透過率、可視光透過率はJIS−R3106(1998)により、紫外線透過率はISO 9050(2003)により、それぞれ求めたものである。また、可視光透過率は標準A光源2度視野を、主波長と刺激純度は標準C光源2度視野を、それぞれ用いて算出したものである。
2.5mm厚さで、可視光透過率(TVA)は12%以上26%以下であることが好ましく、14%以上24%以下がより好ましい。また、2.5mm厚さで、日射透過率(TE)は35%以下であることが好ましく、32%以下がより好ましい。
2.5mm厚さで、紫外線透過率(TUV)は2%以下であることが好ましく、1%がより好ましい。
また、上記光学特性に加えて、2.5mm厚さで、主波長λD が485〜580nm、刺激純度(Pe)が35%以下であることが好ましく、刺激純度(Pe)が32%以下であるガラスが特に好ましい。
なお、本出願は、2014年9月8日付けで出願された日本特許出願(特願2014−182121)に基づいており、その全体が引用により援用される。
Claims (9)
- 酸化物基準の質量%表示で、ガラス母組成として、
SiO2 66〜75%、
Na2O 10〜20%、
CaO 5〜15%、
MgO 0〜6%、
Al2O3 0〜5%、
K2O 0〜5%、
FeO 0.2〜1.2%、
Fe2O3で表した全鉄 2.4〜4%、
TiO2 0%超1%以下、
を含有し、CoOを50〜400質量ppm含有し、Seを0〜70質量ppm含有し、Cr2O3を0〜800質量ppm含有し、CoO、SeおよびCr2O3の合量が0.1質量%未満であり、板厚3.5mmでの紫外線透過率(TUV)(ISO9050:2003)が2%以下であることを特徴とする紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。 - さらに、NiOを0〜1質量%含有する、請求項1に記載の紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。
- 板厚2.5mmでの紫外線透過率(TUV)(ISO9050:2003)が2%以下である、請求項1または2に記載の紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。
- 板厚3.5mmでの標準A光源を用いて測定した可視光透過率(TVA)(JIS−R3106(1998))が5%以上15%以下である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。
- 板厚2.5mmでの標準A光源を用いて測定した可視光透過率(TVA)(JIS−R3106(1998))が12%以上26%以下である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。
- 板厚3.5mmでの日射透過率(TE)(JIS−R3106(1998))が20%以下である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。
- 板厚2.5mmでの日射透過率(TE)(JIS−R3106(1998))が35%以下である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。
- 板厚3.5mmでの標準C光源を用いて測定した主波長(λD)が485〜580nmであり、標準C光源を用いて測定した刺激純度(Pe)が45%以下である請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。
- 板厚2.5mmでの標準C光源を用いて測定した主波長(λD)が485〜580nmであり、標準C光源を用いて測定した刺激純度(Pe)が35%以下である請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の紫外線吸収性ガラス物品。
