本実施形態においては、図1に示されるように、電気自動車(以下、「車両」と記す)CRに装備された車載受電装置200に対して、電磁誘導方式を利用して電力供給を行う非接触充電装置100を例示して説明する。この非接触充電装置100は、駐車スペースの地面に配置される。ここで、図1における座標系(X,Y,Z)は、+Z軸方向を鉛直上方方向とする座標系であり、図示の通りに定義されているものとする。
本発明の非接触充電装置100の構成の説明に先立って、車載受電装置200の構成について説明する。車載受電装置200は、図1,4により総合的に示されるように、受電部210と、受電処理部(RPR)220と、蓄電池(BAT)230とを備えている。
次に、上記の非接触充電装置100の構成について、説明する。
上記の複数の突起PRは、図3(A),(B)により総合的に示されるように、互いに同一の高さを有し、後述する送電部170の上面の全面に、格子状に配置されている。そして、隣り合う突起の間隔は、検出対象として想定する物体の形状に応じて定められるようになっている。ここで、複数の突起の高さは、非接触充電ユニット110の筐体上面に水滴がある場合に、当該水滴を異物として検知しない観点から、水滴の高さよりも高くなっている。

次に、非接触充電ユニット110の構成について説明する。
上述した受発光部120の構成について説明する。
以上のようにして構成された非接触充電装置100の動作について、制御部180による車載受電装置200への電力供給の制御処理に、主に着目して説明する。
本発明は、上記の実施形態に限定されるものではなく、様々な変形が可能である。
Claims (9)
- 無線で外部の受電部に電力を供給する送電部を有する非接触充電装置であって、
前記送電部の上面に沿って進行する光を射出する発光部と;
前記発光部が射出し、複数の突起が配置された前記送電部の上面に沿って進行した光に基づいて、前記送電部の上方に存在する前記突起の少なくとも1つに支持された物体を検出する物体検出部と;
前記物体検出部による検出結果に基づいて、前記送電部による電力の供給を制御する制御部と;
を備えることを特徴とする非接触充電装置。 - 前記複数の突起は、互いに同一の高さを有し、
前記発光部が射出した光は、前記送電部の上面から前記高さの位置を含む領域を進行する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触充電装置。 - 前記複数の突起は格子状に配置され、隣り合う突起の間隔は、前記物体検出部による検出対象として想定する物体の形状に応じて予め定められる、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の非接触充電装置。
- 前記複数の突起は千鳥状に配置され、隣り合う突起の間隔は、前記物体検出部による検出対象として想定する物体の形状に応じて予め定められる、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の非接触充電装置。
- 前記物体検出部は、
前記発光部が射出し、前記送電部の上面に沿って進行した光を反射する反射部と;
前記反射部が反射した光を受光する受光部と;
前記受光部による受光結果に基づいて、前記送電部の上方に存在する物体の有無を判断する判断部と;
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触充電装置。 - 前記発光部が射出する光は、レーザビーム光であり、
前記発光部は、前記レーザビーム光が前記送電部の上面の全面の上部をスキャンするように、前記レーザビーム光の前記発光部からの射出方向を順次変化させる、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触充電装置。 - 無線で外部の受電部に電力を供給する送電部を有する非接触充電装置において使用される電力供給制御方法であって、
前記送電部の上面に沿って進行する光を、発光部が射出する発光工程と;
前記発光部が射出し、複数の突起が配置された前記送電部の上面に沿って進行した光に基づいて、前記送電部の上方に存在する前記突起の少なくとも1つに支持された物体を検出する物体検出工程と;
前記物体検出工程における検出結果に基づいて、前記送電部による電力の供給を制御する制御工程と;
を備えることを特徴とする電力供給制御方法。 - 無線で外部の受電部に電力を供給する送電部を有する非接触充電装置が有するコンピュータに、請求項7に記載の電力供給制御方法を実行させる、ことを特徴とする電力供給制御プログラム。
- 無線で外部の受電部に電力を供給する送電部を有する非接触充電装置が有するコンピュータにより読み取り可能に、請求項8に記載の電力供給制御プログラムが記録されている、ことを特徴とする記録媒体。
