Claims (6)
- 液晶パネルと、
光源と、
液晶パネルの裏面に設置され前記液晶パネルに光源由来の光を照射する導光板と、
前記導光板と前記光源との間に、直径50nm以下の量子ドット蛍光体を内部に含んだ蛍光体層と
を備える液晶表示装置。 - 前記蛍光体層により波長変換された前記光源からの光を、前記導光板の少なくとも一の側面から入射し、該導光板内部で散乱させて前記液晶パネルに照射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記蛍光体層が、波長変換されて得られる光の波長が相互に異なる複数の蛍光体層部材からなる、請求項1又は2のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記光源がLEDからなり、該光源と前記蛍光体層との間に、該光源から発せられる光の方向を変化させるレンズを設けた、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 液晶パネルと、
光源と、
液晶パネルの裏面に設置され前記液晶パネルに光源由来の光を照射する導光板と、
前記導光板と前記光源との間に設置された、該光源から発せられる光の方向を変化させるレンズを備え、
該レンズの内部には直径50nm以下の量子ドット蛍光体が含まれていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 液晶パネルと、光源と、液晶パネルの裏面に設置され前記液晶パネルに光源由来の光を照射する導光板と、前記導光板と前記光源との間に設置される蛍光体層を備える液晶表示装置に適用される蛍光体層であって、
該蛍光体層は、直径50nm以下の量子ドット蛍光体を内部に含むことを特徴とする、蛍光体層。
