Abstract
Description
以下、この発明にかかる液体の残量検出装置を車両に搭載されたディーゼルエンジン(以下、「エンジン」という)に適用した第1実施形態について、図1〜図3を参照して説明する。
停止時残量PR=尿素供給量の積算値S+尿素供給の開始後にレベルセンサ250によって検出されるセンサ残量値SR …(1)
ちなみに、機関運転中は排気熱等により尿素水の凍結が起きにくい。従って、機関停止直後は、機関始動直後に比べて尿素水が凍結している可能性は低く、センサ残量値SRの信頼性も高い。そのため、尿素水供給を開始する前の尿素残量、換言すれば積算噴射量QESを減算する尿素残量として機関停止直後のセンサ残量値SR、つまり上記停止時残量PRを利用することにより、推定残量ARの信頼性が高まるようになる。

次に、この発明にかかる液体の残量検出装置を具体化した第2実施形態について、図4及び図5を参照して説明する。
Claims (8)
- 液体を貯留するタンクと、
前記タンク内の液体の残量を検出する検出器と、
前記タンク内の液体を供給対象に供給する供給機構と、
前記供給機構による液体供給が開始される前に前記検出器によって検出された第1の液体残量と、前記供給機構による液体供給が開始されてから同供給機構が供給した液体供給量の積算値と、前記供給機構による液体供給の開始後に前記検出器によって検出される第2の液体残量とに基づき、前記検出器における検出異常の有無を判定する異常判定部と、
前記異常判定部によって検出異常ありと判定されるときには、前記第1の液体残量から前記積算値を減じた値を前記タンク内の液体残量の推定値とする推定部と、を備える
液体の残量検出装置。 - 前記異常判定部は、前記第1の液体残量から前記積算値を減じた値を算出し、この減算値と同減算値を算出したときの前記第2の液体残量との間に乖離があるときには、前記検出器に検出異常有りと判定する
