Abstract
Description
本発明における工程(1)は、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)を重合して重合体(A)を得る工程である。
本発明における工程(2)は、重合体(A)を含む分散液中でアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を重合する工程である。工程(2)で用いるアクリル系単量体混合物(b)は、アセトアセチル基またはブロックイソシアネート基を有する単量体を含む。

すなわち式(1)により、まずアクリル系単量体混合物(a)の重合温度Tにおける重合開始剤の熱分解速度定数Kdを求める。次に式(2)より、重合温度Tの条件下でt(s)時間反応後の重合開始剤の残存率を求める。そして、重合体開始剤の使用量から分散液中に存在する重合開始剤のモル量(I)を求める。
工程(2)で重合を行った後の分散液中のアクリル系重合体は、例えば、噴霧乾燥法(スプレードライ法)や酸凝固や塩凝固させた後に乾燥させることにより、粉体として分別できる。特に一次粒子同士が強固に結合せず、弱いせん断力で容易に一次粒子の状態にできる点から、噴霧乾燥法が好ましい。
プラスチゾル組成物は、以上説明したアクリル系重合体と可塑剤を含む。また必要に応じて、塩化ビニル樹脂、充填剤、接着剤等を含んでいても良い。
70×25×0.8mmのカチオン電着版(パルテック(株)製)2枚を重ねて、この間の中央部にプラスチゾル組成物を25×25×3mmで塗布し、140℃で20分加熱した試験片と120℃で20分加熱した試験片を得た。この試験片の2枚のカチオン電着板を23℃環境下で長軸反対方向に引張り、剪断接着強度を測定した。測定には引張測定装置(商品名AG−IS 5KN、(株)島津製作所製)を用い、試験速度を50mm/分とした。さらに接着試験後の破断面を目視により観察し、以下の基準で評価した。
「○」:破断面が材料から破壊している凝集破壊(CF)
「△」:破断面の一部が界面から破壊している、もしくは破断状態に偏りがある凝集破壊(SCF)
「×」:破断面がゾルと電着版の界面から破壊している界面破壊(AF)
アクリル系重合体100部と、可塑剤としてジイソノニルフタレート((株)ジェイプラス製)100部を、真空ミキサーにて5秒間大気圧下(0.1MPa)で混合した。さらに、この混合物を2.7kPaに減圧して115秒間混合し、貯蔵安定性評価用プラスチゾル組成物を得た。このプラスチゾル組成物を25℃の恒温槽で2時間保温し、BH型粘度計((株)東京計器製)NO.7ローターを用いて、回転数20rpmで1分後の初期粘度(α)(単位Pa・s)を測定した。測定後のプラスチゾル組成物を40℃雰囲気下で保管し、初期粘度と同様の方法で10日後の粘度(β)を測定した。そして、増粘率(%)=[(β−α)/α]×100の式から増粘率(%)を求め、以下の基準で評価した。
「○」:増粘率が200%以下
「△」:増粘率が200%を超え、600%以下
[工程(1)]
温度計、窒素ガス導入管、攪拌棒、滴下漏斗および冷却管を装備した2リットルの4つ口フラスコに、イオン交換水544gを入れ、30分間窒素ガスを通気し、イオン交換水中の溶存酸素を置換した。次いで、窒素ガスの通気を停止し、200rpmで攪拌しながら80℃に昇温した。内温が80℃に達した時点で、メタクリル酸メチル26.1gおよびメタクリル酸n−ブチル19.9gからなる単量体混合物(s)を一括投入した。続いて、過硫酸カリウム0.40gとイオン交換水16gを投入して重合を行い、種粒子となる重合体粒子を形成した。
工程(1)で得た重合体(A)を含む分散液を、80℃で60分保持し、重合禁止剤としてp−メトキシフェノール24mgおよびイオン交換水4gを投入した。ここで、分散液中に添加した重合禁止剤(p−メトキシフェノール)のモル量(Q)と、分散液中に残存している重合開始剤(過硫酸カリウム)のモル量(I)の比率(Q/I)は、1.4である。また、重合禁止剤の添加の直前におけるアクリル系単量体混合物(a)の反応率は97%であった。
炭酸カルシウム(商品名NS#200、日東粉化工業(株)製)100部、表面処理炭酸カルシウム(商品名白艶華CCR、白石工業(株)製)150部、可塑剤としてジイソノニルフタレート((株)ジェイプラス製)200部、ブロックウレタン樹脂(商品名アデカレジンQR−9428、(株)ADEKA製)40部、硬化剤(商品名アデカハードナーEH−4358S、(株)ADEKA製)4.45部、酸化カルシウム3部を、真空ミキサー(商品名ARV−200、(株)シンキー製)にて5秒間大気圧(0.1MPa)で混合した。その後、2.7kPaに減圧して、175秒間混合して混練物を得た。続いて、アクリル系重合体(P−1)100部を添加し、真空ミキサーにて5秒間大気圧下(0.1MPa)で混合し、その後2.7kPaに減圧して115秒間混合し、プラスチゾル組成物を得た。このプラスチゾル組成物の物性を評価した。結果を表2に示す。
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)およびアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を表2および3に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例1と同様にしてアクリル系重合体(P−2)〜(P−16)を製造し、プラスチゾル組成物を調製して評価した。結果を表2および3に示す。

・「t−BMA」:メタクリル酸t−ブチル(三菱レイヨン(株)製)
・「2−HEMA」:メタクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル(三菱レイヨン(株)製)
・「n−BMA」:メタクリル酸n−ブチル(三菱レイヨン(株)製)
・「AAEM」:メタクリル酸2−アセトアセトキシエチル(日本合成化学(株)製)
・「カレンズMOI−BP」:2−[(3,5―ジメチルピラゾリル)カルボニルアミノ]エチルメタクリレート(昭和電工(株)製)
・「カレンズMOI−BM」:2−[0−(1'−メチルプロピリデンアミノ)カルボキシアミノ]エチルメタクリレート(昭和電工(株)製)
Claims (5)
- アクリル系単量体混合物(a)を重合して重合体(A)を得る工程(1)と、
前記重合体(A)を含む分散液中でアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を重合する工程(2)を含むアクリル系重合体の製造方法であって、
前記アクリル系単量体混合物(a)中に、水酸基を有する単量体が含まれ、
前記アクリル系単量体混合物(b)中に、アセトアセチル基またはブロックイソシアネート基を有する単量体が含まれ、
前記重合体(A)の溶解パラメーター(SA)と前記アクリル系単量体混合物(b)を重合して得られる重合体(B)の溶解パラメーター(SB)が異なる、アクリル系重合体の製造方法。 - アクリル系単量体混合物(b)100mol%中に、アセトアセチル基またはブロックイソシアネート基を有する単量体が0.7〜15mol%含まれる請求項1に記載のアクリル系重合体の製造方法。
- アクリル系単量体混合物(a)100mol%中に、水酸基を有する単量体が0.1〜15mol%含まれる請求項1に記載のアクリル系重合体の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法から得られるアクリル系重合体。
- 請求項4に記載のアクリル系重合体と可塑剤を含むプラスチゾル組成物。
