Abstract
Description
本願発明者らは、金(Au)、白金(Pt)にニオブ(Nb)を加えることにより、MRIにおけるアーチファクトの低減(若しくはアーチファクト無し)が実現できる点、種々の物理的特性の実現を図ることができる可能性を見出した。もっとも、MRI用以外への用途に適用することも考えられるため、必ずしもアーチファクトの低減(若しくはアーチファクト無し)が図れる範囲に限定される趣旨ではない。以下に、上記三元素の比率を変化させてMRI測定を行った結果について説明する。図1、図2は、本願発明者らが検討した医療用合金の三元素の比率とMRIアーチファクトの結果を示す図である。図3は、上記本願発明者らの検討結果をグラフとした図である。
上記したように、本実施の形態に係る3元系医療用合金は、幅広い特性を得ることが可能であり、(1)ステント、コイル、動脈瘤クリップを含むクリップ、(2)埋め込み型人工心臓のハウジング、(3)心臓ペースメーカーのケース、電極、ターミナル、(4)人工弁のフレーム、(5)MRI環境下で使用する手術用具等の各種医療用具に適用することが可能である。各種医療用具の使用方法については、従来のものと同等に考えることができ、本実施の形態の医療用合金を用いることにより、生体適合性、MRI適合性の極めて高い医療用具が提供され得る。特にグラディエントエコー法を用いる場合に、好適に使用され得る。
Claims (19)
- 金(Au)、白金(Pt)及びニオブ(Nb)の三種の元素を主成分とすることを特徴とする医療用合金。
- MRIにおけるアーチファクトを低減したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用合金。
- 前記三元素の含有量の合計が99重量%以上である請求項1又は2に記載の医療用合金。
- アーチファクト低減を維持する範囲で前記三元素以外の元素が添加された請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- 前記三元素の含有量の合計が98重量%以上である請求項4に記載の医療用合金。
- 前記三元素の含有量の合計が95重量%以上である請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- 白金の含有量が5重量%以上27重量%以下、ニオブの含有量が3重量%以上15重量%以下である請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- 白金の含有量が5重量%以上25重量%以下、ニオブの含有量が7重量%以上12重量%以下である請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- 白金の含有量(重量%)をX軸にとり、ニオブの含有量(重量%)をY軸にとった場合に、(X,Y)の値が、(5,8)、(10,8)、(15,10)、(20,9)、(25,7)、(25,9)、(20,11)、(15,12)、(5,8)に囲まれた範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- 白金の含有量(重量%)をX軸にとり、ニオブの含有量(重量%)をY軸にとった場合に、(X,Y)の値が、(25,9)、(25,7)、(50,9)、(50,7)に囲まれた範囲であることを請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- 非磁性化されたことを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- 白金の含有量が5重量%以上50重量%以下、ニオブの含有量が7重量%以上11重量%以下の範囲で非磁性化されたことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の医療用合金。
- 磁化率の絶対値が24ppm以下であることを特徴とする請求項11又は12に記載の医療用合金。
- 水の磁化率(9ppm)との差の絶対値が15ppm以下であることを特徴とする請求項11から13のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- ビッカース硬さ180以上としたことを特徴とする請求項1から14のいずれかに記載の医療用合金。
- 前記三元素を溶解し、凝固させ、時効熱処理を行うことにより、ビッカース硬さ180以上としたことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の医療用合金。
- 請求項1から16のいずれかに記載の医療用合金を用いたことを特徴とする医療用具。
- 前記医療用具は、(1)ステント、コイル、動脈瘤クリップを含むクリップ、(2)埋め込み型人工心臓のハウジング、(3)心臓ペースメーカーのケース、電極、ターミナル、(4)人工弁のフレーム、(5)MRI環境下で使用する手術用具のいずれかである請求項17に記載の医療用具。
- 前記医療用具は、グラディエントエコー法における血管造影の際に用いられ得ることを特徴とする請求項17又は18に記載の医療用具。
