Abstract
Description
本発明は、経皮的冠状動脈形成術(PTCA)後における拡張部の再狭窄率を大幅に低減するステントとして利用が可能となる。
Claims (9)
- ストラットが相互に交差接合され、全体が管状に形成されたステント本体と、前記ストラットの外表面にコーティングすることにより形成された薬剤コート層と、を有するステントであって、
前記ストラットは、前記ステント本体の放射方向への拡張−収縮に伴って変形される屈曲部を有し、当該屈曲部にコーティングされる前記薬剤コート層を、前記ストラットの軸直角断面形状が山形であり、かつ、当該山形の稜線が前記ストラットの長手方向に沿って波形状となるように形成したことを特徴とするステント。 - 前記屈曲部は、なだらかな円弧状に屈曲したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステント本体が放射方向外方へ拡張−収縮変形することにより前記ストラット相互間が拡開変形される前記屈曲部は、前記拡開変形により圧縮作用を受ける外方側変曲点の近傍に前記稜線波形のピーク部が位置するように前記薬剤コート層を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のステント。
- 前記ステント本体が放射方向外方へ拡張−収縮変形することにより前記ストラット相互間が拡開変形される前記屈曲部は、前記拡開変形により伸張作用を受ける内方側変曲点の近傍を前記薬剤コート層のない無コート層としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のステント。
- 前記屈曲部は、前記稜線波形のピーク部が奇数個存在するように前記薬剤コート層を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のステント。
- 前記薬剤コート層は、前記ストラットの外表面全体若しくは一部に、前記薬剤コート層の稜線が前記ストラットの長手方向に沿って波形状となるように形成したことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のステント。
- 前記薬剤コート層は、薬剤とポリマーとの混合物により構成したことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のステント。
- 前記ポリマーは、生分解性ポリマーである請求項7に記載のステント。
- 前記生分解性ポリマーは、ポリ乳酸、ポリグリコール酸、乳酸とグリコール酸の共重合体のいずれか、である請求項8に記載のステント。
