Abstract
Description
前記スポンジ材の比重が0.06を超え且つ0.25以下であることを特徴とする。
前記スポンジ材の通気性が5cc/cm2/sec以下であることを特徴とする。
以下に、実施例を挙げて本発明を更に詳しく説明するが、本発明は下記の実施例に何ら限定されるものではない。
供試スポンジ材として、エーテル系ポリウレタンフォームからなるスポンジ材A(比重=0.014、通気性:90cc/cm2/sec)、エーテル系ポリウレタンフォームからなるスポンジ材B(比重=0.045、通気性:100cc/cm2/sec)、エーテル系ポリウレタンフォームからなるスポンジ材C(比重=0.07、通気性:3〜5cc/cm2/sec)、EPDM発泡体からなるスポンジ材D(比重=0.065、通気性:0.1〜5cc/cm2/sec)を準備した。
上記スポンジ材(厚み20mm品)に対して、ISO 10534−2:1998のAcoustics Determination of sound absorption coefficient and impedance in impedance tubes Part 2: Transfer-function methodに準拠して、吸音率を測定した。結果を表1及び2に示す。数値が大きい程、良好であることを示す。
次に、供試スポンジ材として、エーテル系ポリウレタンフォームからなるスポンジ材A(比重=0.014、通気性:90cc/cm2/sec)、エーテル系ポリウレタンフォームからなるスポンジ材B(比重=0.045、通気性:100cc/cm2/sec)、エーテル系ポリウレタンフォームからなるスポンジ材C(比重=0.07、通気性:3〜5cc/cm2/sec)、EPDM発泡体からなるスポンジ材D(比重=0.065、通気性:0.1〜5cc/cm2/sec)を準備した。
上記スポンジ材を用いて、図1に示す構造のタイヤとリムとの組立体を作製した。なお、タイヤのサイズは245/45であり、リムのサイズは19インチであり、スポンジ材は、断面形状が高さ20mm×幅100mmであり、周方向に連続している。また、比較として、スポンジ材を用いないタイヤとリムとの組立体(比較例3)を作製した。なお、比較例4のタイヤとリムとの組立体にはスポンジ材A(比重=0.014、通気性:90cc/cm2/sec)を用い、比較例5のタイヤとリムとの組立体にはスポンジ材B(比重=0.045、通気性:100cc/cm2/sec)を用い、実施例3のタイヤとリムとの組立体にはスポンジ材C(比重=0.07、通気性:3〜5cc/cm2/sec)を用い、実施例4のタイヤとリムとの組立体にはスポンジ材D(比重=0.065、通気性:0.1〜5cc/cm2/sec)を用いた。
上記のようにして作製したタイヤとリムとの組立体を車両に装着し、アスファルト路を速度40km/h、50km/h、60km/h、70km/hで走行したときの車内音を測定し、200Hz付近の空洞共鳴音のピーク値の音圧レベルを測定して、ロードノイズを評価した。結果を図2に示す。

- 前記スポンジ材が合成樹脂発泡体を加熱圧縮した熱圧縮成形体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のタイヤとリムとの組立体。
- 前記スポンジ材がエーテル系ポリウレタンフォームであることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のタイヤとリムとの組立体。
- 前記スポンジ材が合成ゴムの発泡体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のタイヤとリムとの組立体。
- 前記スポンジ材が撥水剤を含まないことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のタイヤとリムとの組立体。
- 前記スポンジ材が、前記空気入りタイヤのトレッド部の内面の少なくとも一部に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のタイヤとリムとの組立体。
- 前記スポンジ材が、前記リム上に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のタイヤとリムとの組立体。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のタイヤとリムとの組立体に使用されるスポンジ材。
