本発明の一態様として、本発明のキノキサリン誘導体を用いた有機半導体素子である発光素子について図1を用いて説明する。

収率48%(収量 1.5g)。得られた黄緑色粉末を核磁気共鳴法(1H−NMR(CDCl3))で測定したところ、σ(ppm)=8.56(1H),8.20−8.29(2H),7.33−7.50(4H),7.15−7.28(4H)、7.04−7.15(20H)のピークが得られ、D−TriPhAQnが合成されていることが確認できた。
Ir(btp)2(acac)をゲスト材料として用いた従来の発光素子の特性について調べた結果について述べる。素子構造としては、発光層1113およびホールブロッキング層1114に用いる材料を除いて実施例3と同様の構成であり、各層の膜厚も同様とした。発光層1113は、CBPをホスト材料とした従来の構成であり、Ir(btp)2(acac)の添加濃度は8質量%とした。また、ホールブロッキング層1114としては、従来と同様BCPを用いた。
