Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting material turning into superconductive state at >=77 deg.K, by compression molding a calcined, pulverized and granulated powdery mixture composed of three specific kinds of element components and baking the molded material. CONSTITUTION:The objective superconducting material is produced by (1) mixing a powder composed mainly of elements belonging to (A1) the 1st component composed of one or more elements selected from Y, Er, Sc, La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Tm, Yb and Lu, a powder composed mainly of elements belonging to (A2) the 2nd component composed of one or more elements selected from Ba, Ca and Sr and a powder composed mainly of elements belonging to (A3) the 3rd component composed of Cu and one or more elements selected from Zn, Ni, Co, Fe, Pd, Ag and Cd, (2) forming the mixture (3) baking the formed article in an oxidative atmosphere at 950-1,200 deg.C in such a manner as to form a sintered material having K2NiF4 structure including monoclinic crystal and composed of the components A1, A2 and A3 of formulas and oxygen component.
