Abstract
PURPOSE: To realize long term stabilized operation at high speed and compaction by fixing the rotor of an induction motor directly to an arbor shaft and setting the dimensional accuracy of a tubular body strictly. CONSTITUTION: An arbor section 1 is provided with one bearing 6 in the rear end part of an outer sleeve 3' and two bearings 6', 6" in the forward end part of the outer sleeve 3' and supports an arbor shaft 23 penetrating through these bearing through inner sleeves 3". On the other hand, an induction motor 2 comprises a stator case 12, end members 12', 12", a stator 4 disposed in the stator case 12 and a rotatable rotor 5. The rotor 5 is secured to an arbor shaft 23 projecting rearward from a tubular body 3 and when the rotor 5 rotates while following up a rotating field generated from the stator 4, the arbor shaft 23 also rotates. Consequently, electromagnetic energy is converted into mechanical energy.
