Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply detect a working rate by counting up the total number of read-out effective microinstructions and the total number of execution display flags written correspondingly to said microinstructions and calculating the working rate of a microprogram based on the ratio of both counted values. CONSTITUTION:At every reading of a microinstruction from a control memory 11, an one-bit execution display flag is written in its corresponding address of an execution display flag registering memory 15 having the same address constitutional as the control memory 11. While simultaneously reading out the contents of both memories 11, 15 after ending the execution of the microprogram, the total number of read effective microinstructions and the total number of execution display flags written correspondingly to the microinstructions are counted up and the working rate of the microprogram is detected from the ratio of both values. Consequently, the working rate of the microprogram can be detected by means of a simple constitution under the same operating environment as practical operation.
