Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately perform dead-time correction by adding the pulse width of an input signal from a slow amplifier to the time from the rising point of the input signal from the slow amplifier to its peak point of time. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 1 inputs the signal B from the slow amplifier and a discrete level signal V0 from a threshold power source 2 and output a signal with input pulse width (signal processing time) TC. Further, a control circuit 3 generates a charging signal for (TP) from the detection of the rising of an input signal from the comparator 1 to the detection of its peak value to close an opening/closing switch SW1 for charging, thereby detecting an addition time TP. Then a 3rd circuit 4 which constitutes an addition output means Z outputs a time signal with TD which is the sum of the input pulse width (signal processing time) TC and addition time TP as a dead-time correction signal.
