Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an assisting operation of commutation in the motor side converter, by such means that a commutation operation of the motor side converter be made by utilizing a counter electromotive force of the motor, and an input current to the motor side converter made intermittent by a control of the power side converter at the time of starting and low speed.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of starting and low speed operation when not obtained a counter electromotive force at enough level required for commutation of the motor side converter 2, if fed a pulse shift signal, for operating an interruption of output current of the power side converter 1, from an interrupted control circuit 12 to a firing angle regulating circuit 11, simultaneously a signal is given for opening switches S1, S2. A circuit opening of the switches S1, S2 releases an auxiliary regulator, constituted by an amplifier OP3, from zero holding, with a deviation, between a target value voltage VRCR× and an output voltage VRCR of current regulator 9, given to the current regulator 9 through an inversion amplifying circuit with input filter. To the current regulator 9 are being given a current target value I× and armature current actual value I.
