Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably control output potential even when power supply variation is generated by differentially amplifying differential potential between reference potential and comparing potential controlled by a signal. CONSTITUTION:An input phic of a comparing potential generating circuit 3 is supplied to an output terminal 4 of a power supply circuit and an output phiB of the circuit 3 is sent to the input side of a differential amplifier circuit 2. In this case, a reference voltage generating circuit 1 has a discharging device constituted of an n-channel MOS transistor (TR) Q11. When a signal phi2 is inactive, the output phiB of the circuit 3 has the same potential as the input phiC' but when the signal phi2 is activated, the potential of the output phiB goes to a value obtained by dividing an output potential phiout by the resistance ratio of a resistor R2 to the TR Q11. When the signal phi2 is activated for a fixed period immediately before the increment of a load current, differential potential is inputted to the differential amplifier 2 simultaneously with the increment of a load current or immediately before the increment, so that the drop of the output potential due to the increment of the load current can be reduced.
