Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate a circuit by a small input amplitude, by separating the gates of a p-channel type transistor (P-ch TR) and a n-channel type transistor (N-ch TR), to which an input signal is applied, and supplying different biases to them, respectively. CONSTITUTION:An input terminal PIN of a P-ch TR group of a dynamic frequency divider 24 is connected to an output terminal of a quartz oscillator 22 through a capacitor 32, and an input terminal of an N-ch TR group is connected to an output terminal of the quartz oscillator 22 through a capacitor 34. To the PIN terminal is supplied bias by resistance elements 26, 28, 30 so that the potential from an electric power source becomes suitable, and also to the NIN terminal, too, is supplied bias by the resistance elements 26, 28, 30. A frequency dividing characteristic is varied as shown by a line 42 or a line 44 depending on how to supply bias. In case when the dynamic frequency divider 24 is used by battery voltage or below, it is possible to shift the frequency dividing characteristic to match the voltage concerned.
