Abstract
PURPOSE:To protect a feed water pump and improve operation and controllability of a whole plant by surely supplying water by a pressure controlling inactive gas storage tank in the time of turbine trip. CONSTITUTION:A pressure control valve 41 is provided at the outlet of a N2 gas accumulator 40. In the time of turbine trip the pressure control valve 41 remains open by receiving a turbine trip signal and the supply of N2 gas is controlled in order that the pressure of a pressure relief valve 44 set for the protection of a feed water heater 4 is less than the pressure set point. Therefore, since N2 gas is supplied from a N2 gas accumulator 40 to the feed water heater 4 and a drain tank 5 and the pressure can be held, water feed can stably be performed by a pump 7 and the pump 7 can be protected.
