Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Signals from a cooling water temperature sensor 18 and O2 sensor 20 are input to a control device 14, and a fuel correction factor is learned while the injection quantity of a fuel injection valve 6 is controlled in such a manner that the air-fuel ratio of air-fuel mixture becomes a designated value. When the start time is detected according to a signal from a start switch 23, the start-up time basic fuel injection quantity according to the cooling water temperature is read out from a map and corrected by a uniform learning correction factor stored by learning. Thus, even at highland, a lowering of air density is corrected to decrease the injection quantity at the time of start-up to prevent overrich of air-fuel ratio.
