Abstract

PURPOSE:To have effective burr removal by facing brushes made of an insulating material mounted on a processing electrode to a flat work in continuous transportation, rotating the brush, and impressing pulse current while electrolyte is supplied between the brushes. CONSTITUTION:While rotated together with a spindle 9, brushes 21 made of insulating material of a processing electrode 8 is sunk by a gear 16 and put in contact with a flat work 3, which is set on a base 2 or transported. At the same time, a pump 19 is operated to supply electrolyte from a flowout hole 22 of the electrode 8 so as to flow between the brushes 21, and pulse current is supplied to electrodes 4, 8 from a pulsated power supply 17 to remove burrs protruding from a pullout hole 31 in a work 3. Thus burrs on the work in the form of flat plate or strip can be removed effectively, and surface roughness be enhanced.
