PURPOSE:To make it possible to reduce the load of a thrust bearing and to prevent the burning by providing a rotary plate with a permanent magnet to a rotary shaft and placing a fixed plate with a superconductor in opposition to it. CONSTITUTION:A rotary plate 9 is provided to a rotary shaft 3. A fixed plate 10 is provided to the lower part of the rotary plate 9 at specific intervals with the lower side of the rotary plate 9. A permanent magnet 11 is provided to the lower side of the rotary plate 9, and a superconductor 12 is placed and provided to the surface opposed to the rotary 9 of the fixed plate 10. The super conductor 12 is maintained in the superconductive state by cooling the supercon ductor 12 through a refrigerant pipe 13. Meissner effect cut off the magnetic line of force of the permanent magnet 11 which is going to get in the supercon ductor 12 by becoming the superconductive state. Accordingly, the force to push the permanent magnet 10 upward is applied by Meissner effect of the superconductor 12. In other words, the buoyancy is given to a rotor 1 through the rotary 9, and the load of a thrust bearing 8 can be reduced.
