Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a clear image at a high speed by applying a voltage between both electrodes arranged on the top and reverse sides of a sheet and distributing charges on the reverse side in a pattern corresponding to a conductive part. CONSTITUTION:The conductive part 102 is provided on the top surface of the electric insulating sheet 101 and passed between the roller electrode and brush electrode 106 connected to a DC power source 104 as shown by an arrow. Different charges are therefore put on the reverse sides of the conductive part and a nonconductive part. Thus, the charges are distributed thereon and then charged toner is brought into contact with the sheet similarly to a normal electrophotographic process to perform development. Consequently, the clear image is obtained at a high speed.
