Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an isotropic electromagnetic steel plate having improved magnetic flux density and low iron loss by specifying the content of Ca in the compsn. of the steel plate and the relationship between the Ca content and the content of impurities. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of the titled steel plate is formed with, by weight, <=0.015% C, <=1.5% Si, <=1.0% Mn, <=0.15% P, <=0.3% Al, 0.001-0.015% Ca, furthermore at need with 0.0003-0.0030% B and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. As the impurities, <=0.010% S, <=0.005% N and <=0.005% O are regulated. The compsn. is furthremore regulated in such a manner that the Ca content satisfies 0.5<=(Ca%)<2>/3.125X(S%).(0%)<=2.0 and (Ca%)/(S%)>=1 and that 0.5<=(B%)/(N%)<=2.0 is satisfied. The isotropic electromagnetic steel plate contg. said compsn. has excellent capacity of magnetic flux density and has low iron loss.
