Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain weld metal with excellent toughness by forming a fine a cicular ferrite structure on the weld metal consisting of specific basic components and being formed of a molten part by an electron beam. CONSTITUTION:The weld metal has the basic components consisting of, by weight, 0.08-0.30% C, <=0.5 Si, 0.4-1.6% Mn, <=0.020% P, <=0.010% S, <0.005% Al, <=0.005% O, <= 0.005% N and the balance Fe with inevitable impurity elements.
