Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the process for production and to shorten the time for production by forming a metallic layer to enhance the release characteristic on a reproducing matrix and forming a resin layer on the metallic layer, then stripping the reproducing matrix and the metallic layer. CONSTITUTION:A photoresist 2 is coated on a glass plate 1 and is exposed by laser light; thereafter, the photoresist is developed to form resist patterns having about 0.5mum pattern intervals l and about 0.2mum thickness (d). The metallic layer 8 is then formed on the photoresist 2 and the glass plate 1 and a resin layer 9 and a reinforcing layer 10 are formed on the metallic layer 8. The metallic layer 8 is thereafter stripped from the photoresist 2 and a master which is the reproducing mold is constituted of the metallic layer 8, the resin layer 9 and the reinforcing layer 10.
