Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable highly reliable cooling operation by returning oil into an oil tank of a compressor through a feed liquid solenoid valve and a pressure regulating valve from a piping on the discharge side of a refrigerant liquid pump while the control of the feed liquid is performed by the opening or closing of the solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve 12 is mounted in the course of oil returning piping, a pressure regulating valve 13 is mounted between the solenoid valve 12 and a compressor 1 and refrigerant piping 14 is provided to link a refrigerant pump 5 to an evaporator 6. With the operation of the compressor 1, the solenoid valve 12 is opened. When the liquid pump 5 starts its operation, a pressure on the discharge side of the pump rises, a refrigerant liquid containing oil components enters a circuit of the oil returning piping 8 from the refrigerant piping 14 to be decompressed to a specified pressure by the pressure regulating valve 13 passing through the feed liquid solenoid valve 12 and then, is returned into an oil tank of the compressor 1. The decompression thus done causes a part of liquid components to be vaporized thereby allowing raising of the concentration of the oil components. When the compressor 1 is stopped, the solenoid valve 12 is closed to halt the feeding of the liquid.
