Abstract

PURPOSE:To conduct charging while traveling by collecting current in non- contact manner through magnetic field generating coils on a traveling path and also providing induction coils on an automobile. CONSTITUTION:Superconducting coils SCM are laid at equal spaces on a traveling path R. In this case, said superconducting coils SCM are arranged in such manner that the direction of generation of a magnetic flux of every other coil differs by 180 deg.. On the other hand, a plurality of induction coils SC are provided on an automobile BD in positions opposed to ground superconducting coils SCM. Then, a voltage induced in said induction coils SC is supplied to a storage battery BT via a power converter PC. Thus, it is possible to charge the storage battery while traveling and to improve the efficiency in time and use.
