Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the control of running of an energy accumulator, and to improve the reliability thereof, by running an electic generator with keeping its voltage at a prescribed value notwithstanding the fluctuation of rotational frequency of the generator. CONSTITUTION:The kinetic energy in a fly-wheel 1 is converted through a three- phase synchronous generator 2 connected to the fly-wheel 1, and is passed to a power system through a frequency changer 3 of a DC link separaely excited inverter type. The frequency changer 3 is composed of changers 4, 5, and the transfer of electric power between a power system BL of commercial frequency and the generator 2 is carried out through a direct current system of the changers 4, 5.
