CONSTITUTION:While sufficient energy is accumulated in a flywheel 1, the slip of an electric motor 2 is the same as the slip under no load, and energy is released from the flywheel 2. With a decrease in the rotating speed of the flywheel 2, the slip of the motor 2 increases. If this slip is detected with a detector 3, the release load energy is known with a reference setter 7 and an operator 6. Next, the primary supply power of the motor 2 is controlled by a thyristor device 4 in accordance with the magnitude of the release load energy, whereby reactive power is suppressed.
