Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of an error caused by a variation of an ambient temperature, by providing a correcting means for outputting a signal corresponding to a signal of an exciting current value from a detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:By exciting coils 4a, 4b, a magnetic flux is applied to an axis 1 to be measured. In this state, when a torque is applied to the axis 1 to be measured, the magnetic flux in the axis 1 to be measured is varied. A detecting coil 5 detects its variation and outputs the corresponding output signal. The signal is amplified 7, rectified 8 and inputted to an arithmetic circuit 9. Also, when an exciting current 6 flowing to the exciting coils 4a, 4b is varied due to a variation of an ambient temperature, the variation of the current is detected by an exciting current detecting means 11, and inputted to an arithmetic circuit 18. On the other hand, a signal from a variable resistance 13 is also inputted to the circuit 18. Subsequently, the circuit 18 operates a difference of both the signals and outputs a signal corresponding to the detected value. This signal passes through a correcting element 19 and is inputted as a correcting signal to the arithmetic circuit 9. In such a way, the generation of an error caused by a variation of an ambient temperature can be eliminated.
