Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a device in small size improved in its efficiency by accumulating magnetic energy in a coil while detecting the intensity of the magnetic field in this coil by a superconducting substance electric wire and generating an induction kick. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage generating device is constituted of a DC power supply 1, switch 2, coil 7 formed by a superconducting substance and an electric wire 8 set up inside the coil 7 and formed by a superconducting substance. The high voltage generating device performs its action such that placing the superconducting electric wire 8 in a superconductive condition till a circuit starts the action, when the switch 2 is closed, a current is allowed to flow in the circuit from the power supply 1, gradually increasing by inductance or the like of the coil 7. Following this action, a magnetic field is generated in the coil 7, and the superconducting electric wire 8 receives this influence, thus performing a phase change into a normal conductive condition when the magnetic field reaches the critical magnetic field of superconduction, and showing high resistance. Consequently, the high voltage generating device, generating an inductance kick, generates high voltage instantaneously between terminals 5 and 6.
