Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate alteration of supercharging ability by communicating the outlet side of a supercharger to the inlet side through an escape passage having a supercharging pressure regulating valve in an air charging device where a gas mixer of an gas engine is connected to an intake port through the supercharger. CONSTITUTION:A supercharger 10 is connected and communicated with an intake port 8 opened to one side of a cylinder head portion of an engine body 1 through a surge tank 9, and a gas mixer 11 is connected to the inlet side of the supercharger 10. The supercharger 10 is driven by transmitting rotation of a fan pulley 3 to an input pulley 12 through a belt 13. The gas mixer 11 is connected to an air cleaner through an intake pipe 14, and connected to a zero governor through a gas supply pipe 15. In the thus constructed intake device, the surge tank 9 on the outlet side of the supercharger 10 and the inlet side of the supercharger 10 are connected to each other by a supercharging pressure escape passage 16, and a supercharging pressure regulating valve 17 for regulating the pressure on the outlet side of the supercharger 10 is interposed in the midway of the passage 16.
