Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ 周壁に軸線方向のスリツトが形成されるとと
もに内側に軸線方向の線状もしくは細棒状の熱陰
極が配されこの熱陰極に対して正極性に課電され
る、両端に底面を備えた筒状体と前記熱陰極とを
備えてなり、この筒状体内へ導入された原料ガス
からイオンを生成して前記スリツトから筒状体外
部へイオンを供給するイオン源において、前記線
状もしくは細棒状熱陰極の長さが前記筒状体の軸
線方向の内側長さより短く形成されるとともに該
筒状体周壁の前記スリツト位置を外れた位置に前
記熱陰極より長い軸線方向の開口が形成され、こ
の開口を挿通する支持部材により前記熱陰極が前
記筒状体外部へ取り出し可能に支持されているこ
とを特徴とするイオン源。 ２ 実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載のイオ
ン源において、熱陰極を筒状体外部へ取り出し可
能に支持している支持部材は、この支持部材によ
つて挿通される筒状体の開口を筒状体の外側から
閉鎖する大きさに形成され筒状体と接触したとき
に同電位となる金属製閉鎖体を前記開口が閉鎖状
態となるように絶縁体を介して担持していること
を特徴とするイオン源。
