Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide excellent forced ventilation or air cushion performance by connecting outer circumferences of an upper layer to a lower layer, and forming a hollow layer inside for composing an insole to be flexible in such a way that the upper layer, the lower layer, and support poles are deformed in a shoe during walk for increasing substantial volume change quantity of the hollow layer in the pressed condition and in the non-pressed condition. CONSTITUTION: An upper layer 1 and a lower layer 2 are connected to each other by support poles 4, and the support poles 4 are formed as hollow cylinders in which inner hollows are not sealed. Thick support poles filled with synthetic resin inside are not completely crushed when they are stepped by a foot to be pressed, though they are deformed, with a thick air layer 3 left between the upper layer 1 and the support pole 1 to crush the upper layer 1 and the lower layer 2 as they are a little apart from each other. For the hollow cylindrical support poles 4 which are not sealed, on the contrary, the thin support poles 4 are almost completely crushed when they are pressed, the upper layer 1 and the lower layer 2 get close to each other, and inner volume change quantity of the hollow layer 3 between the pressed and the non- pressed conditions can be large. The thin support poles 4 are thus almost completely crushed when they are pressed by a foot, thereby forced ventilation quantity or cushion performance of the hollow layer can be improved.
