This invention relates to a method of manufacturing a multilayer ceramic capacitor that does not cause delamination, cracking, deformation, etc. In the conventional manufacturing method of multilayer ceramic capacitors, a raw dielectric sheet 1 shown in FIG. 1 and a dielectric sheet 1' coated with an electrode 2 as shown in FIG. 2 are stacked as shown in FIG. As shown in the figure, plastic film or paper 3 is placed on both sides of stacked raw sheets 1 and 1', and pressure is applied with a press 4.
Obtain a laminated block 5 as shown in the figure, and cut it to obtain a monolithic monolithic ceramic capacitor 6 before firing as shown in Fig. 6.
A sintered body of a multilayer ceramic capacitor was obtained by firing at ℃. However, when trying to obtain a large-capacity multilayer capacitor using such a conventional method, the number of stacked dielectric raw sheets increases, and the thickness of the electrode part of the multilayer body becomes thicker than the other parts, as shown in Figure 7. It gets thicker. When pressure is applied to such a laminate using a highly smooth and inflexible material such as plastic or paper, a large amount of pressure is concentrated on the electrodes, resulting in delamination and cracking in fired multilayer ceramic capacitors. , deformation, etc. occurred frequently, leading to a decrease in the rate of non-defective products. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic capacitor that eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks. The present invention will be described below with reference to an embodiment shown in FIG. In FIG. 8, a dielectric raw sheet and a sheet 7 in which electrodes are applied to the dielectric raw sheet are laminated, and polyurethane rubber 8 treated with a mold release agent such as silicone resin or fluorinated resin is laid on both sides. press 9
Pressurize with. After cutting and firing this as in the conventional method, a multilayer ceramic capacitor is obtained. With this manufacturing method, by using rubber, the difference in pressure between the thick electrode part and other parts is absorbed by the rubber, which causes problems that frequently occur in conventional multilayer ceramic capacitors. Lamination, cracking, and deformation defects are resolved. The reason why rubber that has been subjected to a mold release treatment is used here is that if it were just rubber, the dielectric raw sheet would adhere to the rubber and break when it was peeled off from the rubber. Next, delamination was performed using the method of the present invention and the conventional method, that is, a method in which a dielectric raw sheet and a sheet in which electrodes were applied to the dielectric raw sheet were laminated, plastic film or paper was laid on both sides, and pressure was applied using a press. Indicates the number of cracks, deformations, and cracks.
The following table shows the results of measuring the electrical characteristics of non-defective products with no cracks or deformation.

[Table] As is clear from the above results, the multilayer ceramic capacitor obtained by the method of the present invention had a low defective rate and had excellent electrical characteristics. As described above, according to the present invention, the obtained multilayer ceramic capacitor is free from delamination, cracking, deformation, etc., and is particularly useful when manufacturing a large capacity multilayer ceramic capacitor with a large number of laminated layers. Are suitable.
