Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、携帯型エンジン紐動式１具、例えば枝払いソ
ー用消音装置に関するものである。
野外でエンジンを用いる場合、排気ガスが火災を起し得
る赤熱粒子を含んでいるとするとエンジンの排気ガス出
口の近くにある燃えやすい物に引火する危険〃−ある。
火災の危険を減すために森林中野外での仁のようなエン
ジンの使用を許可する必要条件を記述した規定が出され
て１！た。すなわち消音装置は火花トラップ等を備えし
かも排気ガス温度を下ける装置を設ける必要かある。火
花トラップの最も簡単な形態は消音装置の異なった室間
の通路開口内の網であシ、一方、温度を下げる装置は非
常に複雑となシ得る。そのような複雑な装置は例えに西
ドイツ国特許公報ＤＨ−Ｏ８，７９コ９９Ａ５において
公知である。
本発明によれば、エジェクタ作用によシ排気ガスを消音
装色゛室から間隙を通って排出し、そしてエンジンから
の冷却空気と混ぜて比較的低い温度にする消音ｉｉ置が
提供される。上記の間隙の他に脅内シールドが用いられ
、この家内シールドは一方では冷却を気を捕え、他方で
は比較的低い温度のガス混合物の出口を形成している。
本発明による消音装にはこのようにして特許請求の範囲
に記載したように構成される。
以下添附図面を参照して本発明の実施例について説明す
る。
Ｍ／図にはチェーンソーに用いるのに適した好ましい実
九例の消音装置を示す。この消音装置は二つの室ＩＱ、
／／を備え、こｊらの室１０゜１／は主として一対の金
緘殻／、２．／、？内にそれそｊ１砒され、一つのユニ
ットに形成されている。
室１０．７１１￥Ｘｉ　Ｋ　＆’；Ｊ仕切壁／４’か設
けられ、この仕切壁１４を通って屋ｌθ、ｌｌは通路１
０１５を介して連通している。消音装すはエンジン本体
／９（第ダメ）上の穴Ｉ６．／７．／Ｉｔに三つの通し
ねじによって取付けられている。排気ガスは二つの上方
穴Ｉｔ、、／り間のゲート−〇を通って？ＩＯ内へ流入
する。金杖殻は、締付けたとき消音装置とエンジンの排
気ゲートとの間のコンパクトな連結を成すねじによって
互いに保持される。
金属殼間の継手は」コ図ＶＣよる特殊な形をもっている
。金に殻ｌコの外方縁部匠はフランジミノか設けられ、
金属殼全体を包囲している。このフランジは金粗殻１４
の下方縁部に升なシ、内ＩＩ＋に曲がったフランジ２コ
を形成している。このフランジには金松殻１３の長手側
に沿って幾つかの凹部−３が形成されている。これらの
凹部、２３ケ介して室／／は外部に連通し、それによシ
排気ガスは室／／から放出され得る。フランジコノ、−
２間が平行であることによってガスは金属殼１３の外側
に沿ってのびる通路Ｋ（出口矢印、２４！に沿って）家
内される。
矢印コクに沿った通路はまた森内板２５によって形成さ
れ、この才内板、２Ｓは金属殼１３の角部の外側に１区
され、この通路内に通路２６を形成し、通路２１．ｌ’
ｉ案内板および殻の外側に制限面を備えている。第４図
に示すように、エンジンは冷却ファンコクを備え、この
冷却ファン、２７ｉｉ入ロ開口＝８からケーシング３０
で画定されたエンジン室２９を通って消音装置に近接し
た出口開口３１へ空気を泥す。開口を通って出口に達す
る前に空気は消音ｆｌ：傷を辿過し、そして空気の流ｊ
の２部ｔｉ通路−６′？ｆ通る（第、２図の矢印３−奈
照）。
通路２６を通る空気は矢印コクに沿って排気川口におい
て排出作用をもたらし、排気通路の抵抗全減少きせる。
消音企、訃の角部のまわりに通路が曲かっていることに
よって通路内に乱流が生じ、ガスと空気とを良く混ぜる
ように作用する。
上述の火花トラップは上述の≠ｈ例では通路島口ｌｓ内
のワイヤ網３３から成っている。この網によシ、火花と
呼げする赤熱粒子は家ｌＯ内に留まっている。凹部コ３
の代シに恐らくフランジココに内側に曲かった部分を形
成するとともでき、そこを通って排気ガス′（ｒ−排出
でせてもよい。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、二つの室（１０、１１）に分割し、これらの二つの
    室（１０、１１）が一対のフランジの形状の継手を形成
    する一対の金属殼（１２、１３）で形成され、一対のフ
    ランジの一方（２２）が内側に曲げられ、他方のフラン
    ジ（２１）が外側に曲げられ、周囲の少なくとも一部に
    沿つて間隙を形成する携帯式エンジン駆動型工具の内燃
    機関用消音装置において、内側に曲げられた一方のフラ
    ンジ（２２）が凹部または内方湾曲部（２３）を備え、
    この内方湾曲部（２３）を介して対応した金属殼（１３
    ）内の室が外部に連通していることを特徴とする携帯式
    エンジン駆動型工具の内燃機関用消音装置。 ２、少なくとも凹部の形成されている部分において継手
    上に案内板（２５）が設けられ、この案内板（２５）が
    対応した金属殼（１３）の外側と共に通路（２６）を形
    成している請求項１に記載の消音装置。 ３、案内板（２５）が継手から金属殼（１３）の最も近
    くに位置した角部のまわりに達している請求項２に記載
    の消音装置。 ４、室が仕切壁（１４）で分割され、この仕切壁（１４
    ）に金属線網（３３）を備えた通路開口（１５）が設け
    られている請求項１に記載の消音装置。 ５、内燃機関の冷却系統内に挿置され、上記通路への入
    口が冷却系統の冷却空気流と逆向きに向いている請求項
    １に記載の消音装置。
