Abstract
【解決手段】エンジンEの排気ガスGを消音するマフラ14が、排気管12を介してシリンダ5の排気ポートに接続されている。マフラ14は内部に、最上流側の第1膨張室46と、その下流側の第2膨張室44とが形成されている。排気管12は、第1膨張室46に臨むように、マフラ14に連結されている。マフラ14は、さらに、マフラ14を貫通して冷却風Wを通過させる冷却パイプ60を備えている。冷却パイプ60は、第1膨張室46を貫通している。

Claims (6)
- エンジンの排気ガスを消音するマフラであって、
マフラを貫通して外部の空気を通過させる冷却部材を備えたエンジンのマフラ。 - 請求項1に記載のマフラにおいて、前記冷却部材は、最上流側の第1膨張室を貫通しているエンジンのマフラ。
- 請求項2に記載のマフラにおいて、前記第1膨張室とその下流側の第2膨張室との間に、前記排気ガスを浄化する触媒が配置されているエンジンのマフラ。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のマフラにおいて、前記冷却部材は、前記エンジンの冷却ファンからの冷却風の流れ方向に沿って延びているエンジンのマフラ。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のマフラにおいて、筒状のマフラの周壁を貫通して、下流端が閉塞された排気管が接続され、
前記排気管の周壁に、前記マフラ内に開口した排出口が設けられ、
前記排気管に接触または近接して、前記冷却部材が配置されているエンジンのマフラ。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のマフラにおいて、キャブレター型の前記エンジンに設けられるエンジンのマフラ。
