Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野 ) 本発明は、互いに熱融着性を有する合成樹脂素材をつき
合わせて接合する方法に係り、特に接合部分が強固で、
かつ変形等なく接合できる方法に関する。
(従来の技術及びその問題点) 互いに熱融着性を有する合成樹脂素材をつき合わせて熱
圧着により接合したものは、用途に応じた製品、例えば
色調の異なるものを接合した看板やインテリア用品等が
見られる。 しかしながら、上記の熱圧着法では、第2
図の平面図(a)に示すように素材1.2の直線部分を
つき合わせて接合すると、形成される境界線Bが(b)
のように熱圧着により乱れたり、第3図の平面図(a)
に示すように、円形に打抜かれた素材10に他樹脂から
なる円形の素材11を挿入して熱圧着した場合、(b)
のように接合部分に隙間12が生じたり、(c)のよう
に一部にノツチ13が入ることがあった。
(問題点を解決するための手段) 本発明は、上記の問題点を解消できる接合方法を見出し
なものであって、その要旨とするところは、 互いに熱融着性を有する合成樹脂素材をつき合わせ、つ
いで少なくとも当該つき合わせ部分の上下面に配置した
、十点平均粗さ(JISB−0601)が1〜100μ
mの表面フロスト金属板により、熱圧着することを特徴
とする特許樹脂素材の接合方法にある。
以下本発明を図面により詳細に説明する。
第1図は本発明による合成樹脂素材の接合方法に係る配
置を示す断面概略図であり、合成樹脂素材1と素材2を
直線状につき合わせ、その上下面には表面フロスト金属
板3.3を配置しである。
配置後、通常の熱プレス条件よって、素材1゜2を熱圧
着する。上記表面フロスト金属板3には、十点平均粗さ
(JISBO601)が1〜100μmの範囲で凹凸を
設ける必要があり、表面粗さが、1μm未満の金属板を
使用した場合、境界線Bの直線性が乱れるという問題を
生じ、100μmを越えるものを使用した場合は大きな
境界線の乱れはないが微細な乱れが生じやすい。
本発明で使用するつき合わせ用の合成樹脂素材は互いに
熱融着性を有する同8!または異種のものであり、目的
に応じて種々の樹脂や形状のものが使用できる。さらに
、接合部分の強度を増すために境界線の上下部分に各素
材との熱融着性を有する補強用のシートを介在させるこ
ともできる。
本発明フロスト金属板の使用による効果の発現の理由は
明確ではないが、例えば一部分を打抜いた素材へ他案材
を挿入し接合するものに関し、打抜き部分へ他案材を挿
入しないで熱プレスを実施すると打抜き部分が変形する
現象が見られることから、少なくともつき合わせ部分の
上下面に配置した、表面フロスト金属板上の一定粗さの
凹凸が樹脂素材間相互の流動を抑制するものと考えられ
る。(特に素材の表面層において抑制効果が大きい) 以下、本発明を実施例にて説明する。
(実施例) 実施例1 合成樹脂素材としてポリエチレン(メルトフローレート
、MFR=4.0)からなり、赤色に着色した厚み2m
mの合成樹脂板を用い、第3図(a)に示すような円形
部分(50mmφ)を打抜いた。この打抜き部分へポリ
エチレン(MFR=1゜0)からなる白色の円板(厚み
2mm、49mmφ)を挿入した。ついで、十点平均粗
さが50μmの表面フロスト金属板を上記合成樹脂素材
の上下にフロスト板で挾むように配置し、プレス温度1
00’Cで熱圧着した。
その結果、上記色調の異なる境界面は隙間等がなく明瞭
な線として接合できた。
比較例として、フロスト金属板の十点平均粗さが1μm
未満のものと、100μmを越すものを用いて、それぞ
れ熱圧着したところ、1μm未満では円形部分の一部に
隙間が生じ、また100μmを越すものではV&細な境
界線の乱れが見られた。
実施例2 〈配合A〉 塩素化ポリエチレン 100重量部 Sn系安定剤      2 ノJ バリウムフェライト 600  ノl 〈配合B〉 ポリ塩イヒビニル   100重量部 Sn系安定剤      4  u 滑   剤            2  〃上記配合
Bを用いて製膜し、厚み3mmの合成樹脂板を得た。こ
の合成樹脂板を用い、−辺が40mmの正方形の打抜き
部分を形成した。
一方、上記配合Aからなるプラスチックマグネットシー
ト(厚み3mm、−辺39mmの正方形)を上記打抜き
部に挿入した。
ついで、十点平均粗さが10μITLの表面フロスト金
属板を上記合成樹脂素材の上下面に配置し、プレス温度
150℃で熱圧着した。得られた接合物はその境界線が
明瞭で、かつ強固に接合されていた。
(発明の効果) 上述したように本発明の接合方法によれば、合成樹脂素
材同志を強固に、かつ変形等が生−しることなく接合す
ることができ、各種分野での利用性が大である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 互いに熱融着性を有する合成樹脂素材をつき合わせ、つ
    いで少なくとも当該つき合わせ部分の上下面に配置した
    、十点平均粗さ(JISB−0601)が1〜100μ
    mの表面フロスト金属板により、熱圧着することを特徴
    とする合成樹脂素材の接合方法。
