Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は管の接合方法に関するものである。
従来、管の場合は、先ず樹脂管の端部外周をサ
ンデイングにより荒くしておき、そしてこのよう
な樹脂管の2本を、その端面を相対向させた状態
で、これら樹脂管の端部外周間に亘つてオーバー
レイにより樹脂層を形成することによつて行なつ
ていた。このような接合によると、両樹脂管に引
張り力が作用したときに、先ず端面接合部に引張
りクラツクが発生し、境界面が破壊されることに
なる。次に樹脂管と樹脂層との間が剥離される。
この剥離は上に進んだり下に下つたりするが、ク
ラツクエリア内で破壊される。ここで樹脂管では
ロービング表面で、樹脂層ではロービングクロス
表面で破壊する。真中のクラツクエリアとは樹脂
管の層中でこわれることで、樹脂管と樹脂層との
二次接着面は弱いのにここからこわれず、樹脂管
でこわれる理由は、凹凸面が激しく化学的より物
理的結合が強いためである。さらにマツトはヤン
グ率が低いので応力分散し、最も応力となるロー
ビング面に応力集中するので、最も弱いロービン
グ面とマツト面の境界面でこわれることになる。
本発明は、樹脂管の端部外周に、一部の針を該
端部に打込みながら有刺鉄線を巻付け、このよう
な樹脂管の2本を、その端面を相対向させた状態
で、これら樹脂管の端部外周間に亘つてオーバー
レイにより樹脂層を形成するものであり、かかる
管の接合方法によると、両樹脂管の端部と樹脂層
との間に、有刺鉄線の多数の針が打込まれた状態
になることから、これら樹脂管と樹脂層との間の
二次接着面が剥離されることを強固に阻止でき、
以つて両樹脂管の接合を強固に行なうことができ
る。
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明
する。先ず第1図に示すように未硬化の樹脂管1
と有刺鉄線2とが準備される。樹脂管1はガラス
繊維などを内在させた繊維強化樹脂管である。ま
た有刺鉄線2は所定間隔置きに多数の針3を有す
る。次に樹脂管1の端部外周に前記有刺鉄線2
を、その一部の針3を該端部に打込んで巻付け、
以つて第2図、第3図に示す状態にする。このと
き残りの針3は露出状態にある。そして樹脂管1
を硬化させる。この状態で現地に運搬するのであ
るが、前述したように針3が露出していることか
ら非常に危険である。そこで第4図に示すように
針3の上からウレタン(耐薬品性ゴム)4などを
巻いた状態で運搬する。そして現地においてウレ
タン4は取り除く。次いで、このような樹脂管1
の2本を、その端面を相対向させた状態で、第5
図に示すように両樹脂管1の端部外周間に亘つて
オーバーレイにより樹脂層5を形成する。そのオ
ーバーレイの作業中において、適宜、強化繊維6
が内在される。
上記実施例では、未硬化の樹脂管1に一部の針
3を打込みながら有刺鉄線2を巻付け、その後に
樹脂管1を硬化させているが、これは予め硬化し
ている樹脂管1に針3を打込みながら有刺鉄線2
を巻付けることで、巻付け後の硬化工程を省略で
きる。この場合に、硬化している樹脂管1として
は熱可塑性樹脂製の樹脂管1が使用され、そして
有刺鉄線2は巻付ける前に300℃〜500℃に加熱さ
れる。このように加熱された有刺鉄線2を樹脂管
1の端部外周に巻付けると、樹脂管1の加熱され
た針3が当たる部分が、その熱によつて融解し、
この融解を進めながら針3の一部が打込まれるこ
とになる。なお融解した部分は自然冷却により硬
化される。
本発明における管の接合方法によると、両樹脂
管の端部と樹脂層との間に、有刺鉄線の多数の針
が打込まれた状態になることから、これら針の存
在によつて、樹脂管と樹脂層との間の二次接着面
が剥離されるようなことを強固に阻止でき、以つ
て両樹脂管の接合を強固に行なうことができる。

  1. 1 樹脂管の端部外周に、一部の針を該端部に打
    込みながら有刺鉄線を巻付け、このような樹脂管
    の2本を、その端面を相対向させた状態で、これ
    ら樹脂管の端部外周間に亘つてオーバーレイによ
    り樹脂層を形成することを特徴とする管の接合方
    法。
