本発明はデヒドロエピアンドロステロンサルフ
エートの水溶性塩を有効成分とする養毛化粧料に
関するものである。 男性型脱毛症には数多くの薬剤がその治療に応
用されている。その作用メカニズムとしては、頭
皮の血行を促進したり、毛母細胞を活性化した
り、頭皮の脂質の分泌を抑制する薬剤を組み合わ
せる例や、その他毛髪の栄養成分であるアミノ酸
やビタン類を配合する例が多い。 特公昭32―7550号公報にはデヒドロエピアンド
ロステロンを含むステロイド化合物を配合した皮
膚用処理剤が開示されているが、養毛効果に関す
る記述はない。また、この物質は水溶液には殆ど
溶解せず、養毛化粧料基剤に配合して使用して
も、その養毛効果を発現することはできない。 本発明者等らはデヒドロエピアンドロステロン
サルフエートの水溶性塩の化粧料への応用に関
し、鋭意研究した結果、ヒトまたは動物の皮膚に
塗布した場合に、著しい毛成長促進効果を発現す
ることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至つた。 すなわち、本発明はデヒドロエピアンドロステ
ロンサルフエートの水溶性塩を配合してなること
を特徴とする養毛化粧料である。 本発明に使用するデヒドロエピアンドロステロ
ンサルフエートの水溶性塩としては、例えば、ナ
トリウム塩、カリウム塩、リチウム塩等のアルカ
リ金属塩、アンモニウム塩、リジン塩、ヒスチジ
ン塩、アルギニン塩等の塩基性アミノ酸塩等を挙
げることができる。 本発明のデヒドロエピアンドロステロンサルフ
エートの水溶性塩の配合量は、養毛化粧料の製成
物の全量重量に対して通常0.0001〜3.0重量%、
好ましくは0.001〜1.0重量%である。 本発明のデヒドロエピアンドロステロンサルフ
エートの水溶性塩は、人体に安全で皮膚刺激が無
く、該化合物をオリーブ油に0.2または1重量%
分散せしめた液を試料液として、後記ドレイズ
(Draize)の方法に準じ、皮膚刺激試験を行つた
結果、動物皮膚刺激スコアーおよびヒト皮膚刺激
スコアーは何れも0であつて、該試料液には皮膚

トニツク、ヘアーローシヨン、ヘアークリーム、
シヤンプー、リンス等の剤型にすることが可能で
ある。本発明の養毛化粧料における基剤として
は、例えば水、エタノール等のアルコール類、グ
リセリン等の多価アルコール類、流動パラフイ
ン、高級脂肪酸(ステアリン酸等)、脂肪酸グリ
セライド(グリセリンモノステアレート等)、高
級アルコール、動植物油、ワツクス類等の油性物
質、界面活性剤(乳化剤、可溶化剤)、殺菌剤、
角質溶解剤等を適宜配合し得る。 本発明の養毛化粧料は、ヒトまたは動物の皮膚
に塗布すると顕著良好な毛成長促進効果(養毛効
果)を発揮し、かつ長期保存しても安定であつ
て、その商品価値は極めて高い。 以下、実施例について説明する。実施例に示す
部とは重量部を、%とは重量%を意味する。 実施例 1 デヒドロエピアンドロステロンサルフエートの
ナトリウム塩、カリウム塩、リチウム塩、アンモ

シヨン(養毛化粧料)を調製した。比較対照とし

(2) Human hair growth promotion effect test The heads of 10 test subjects who were male pattern baldness patients were shaved into a circular shape with a diameter of 1 cm at two locations on the left and right, 5 cm above the ears. The effectiveness was determined by shaving 20 hairs each on the left and right test sites on the 28th day after the start of the test, and calculating the average length of the 20 hairs on the left side (where Example or Comparative Example was applied) (B ) divided by the average length (A) of 20 hairs on the right side (untreated) for evaluation. The judgment results were shown as the average value of (B)/(A) of 10 test subjects.

の水溶性塩を配合してなることを特徴とする養毛
化粧料。 2 デヒドロエピアンドロステロンサルフエート
の水溶性塩が、ナトリウム塩、カリウム塩、リチ
ウム塩、アンモニウム塩、塩基性アミノ酸塩であ
る特許請求の範囲第1項記載の養毛化粧料。 3 デヒドロエピアンドロステロンサルフエート
の水溶性塩が、組成物の全量重量に対して0.0001
〜3.0重量%配合される特許請求の範囲第1項記
載の養毛化粧料。
