本発明は育毛成分を含有する頭髪化粧料、特に
養毛料に関する。
従来より、各種の薬効成分、例えばビタミンE
などのビタミン類;セリン、メチオニンなどのア
ミノ酸類;アセチルコリン誘導体などの血管拡張
剤;紫根エキス等の抗炎症剤;エラストジオール
などの女性ホルモン剤;セフアランチンなどの皮
膚機能高進剤;パントテン酸鋼などのメラニン合
成触媒剤;サリチル酸などの角質溶解剤などが配
合された養毛料が知られているが、発毛や育毛を
促す満足すべき効果は得られていない。
脱毛症は、種々の原因で起こり得るが、いずれ
の場合でも、結果的には頭髪が正常はヘアサイク
ルを営み得ず、体止期(Telogen)の状態に達す
る。脱毛状態を改善し、発毛を促すためには休止
期の毛包を正常な成長期(Anagen)にすること
が必要である。そこで本発明者らは休止期毛の成
長期毛への変換に関する研究を鋭意行なつた結
果、各種有機酸グリセライドが優れた養毛効果を
有することを発見した。
したがつて、本発明は高い育毛効果を有する頭
髪化粧料を提供することを目的とし、そしてこの
頭髪化粧料は有機酸グリセライドを育毛成分とし
て0.1〜10重量%含有することを特徴とする。
本発明に用いられる有機酸グリセライドは下記
一般式〔〕,〔〕,〔〕,〔〕、又は〔〕で
示される有機酸グリセライドを包含する

残基をそれぞれ示す。)
本発明において、好ましい有機酸残基はこはく
酸、フマル酸のような多塩基性カルボン酸;くえ
ん酸、りんご酸、乳酸のようなオキシ酸;ピルビ
ン酸、オキサル酢酸のようなケトン酸;のそれぞ
れ残基を包含する。また、好ましい脂肪酸残基は
炭素原子数が2〜24のものであつて、例えば、酢
酸、ラウリン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸の
ような飽和脂肪酸;オレイン酸のような不飽和脂
肪酸;のそれぞれ残基を包含する。
本発明において、有機酸グリセライドは単一の
ものに限定されず、複数種のものを組合せて使用
してもよい。
有機酸グリセライドの含有量は頭髪化粧料全体
の0.1〜10重量%、より好ましくは1.0〜10重量%
である。含有量が0.1重量%に未たないと効果が
現われない場合がある。また、含有量が10重量%
を超えると完全に溶解しない場合があり、透明な
製品となし得ない場合がある。
有機酸グリセライドがすぐれた養毛効果を示す
理由は、第1に、脂溶性であるため、皮脂腺から
分泌され、毛包と共存する皮脂に容易に溶け込
み、毛根へ浸透しやすいこと、第2に、ホスホフ
ラクトキナーゼを介して分解代謝されないため、
ホルモンの作用を直接受けない、すなわちホルモ
ンの作用により生じている脱毛症に対して有効で
あること、第3に、エネルギー産生効率が極めて
すぐれていることであると考えられる。
本発明の頭髪化粧料は、常法に従つて、養毛
料、ヘアトニツク、ヘアローシヨン、ヘアクリー
ムなど種々の形態として用いることができる。更
にシヤンプー又はヘアリンス剤とすることもでき
る。有機酸グリセライド以外の成分、例えば基剤
として蒸留水、アルコール類、多価アルコール
類、界面活性剤、油脂類などが配合されてもよ
く、さらにその他の薬効成分としてビタミン類、
ホルモン類、アミノ酸類、抗炎症剤、血管拡張
剤、皮膚機能亢進剤、角質溶解剤なども同時に配
合されてもよい。
有機酸グリセライドの育毛効果を試験するため

ウサギ6ないし8羽を一群とし、背部を除毛し、
休止期にあるもののみを実験に供した。休止期に
あるものの除毛した背部に試料を各0.2mlずつ、
週2回、30ないし60日間塗布し、休止期毛が成長
期毛に変換するのに要する日数を調べた。なお、
表中、「促進日数」とは、エタノールのみを塗布
した場合(試料No.14)に比べて、休止期毛から成
長期毛への変換が何日間促進されたかを示すもの

この発明の頭髪化粧料を脱毛症患者に使用した
ところ、幅広い脱毛症に対して有効であり、特に
若年性脱毛症、壮年性脱毛症などの男性型脱毛
症、及び円形脱毛症に優れた育毛効果を示すこと
が明らかとなつた。
また、この発明の頭髪化粧料を使用することに
よる副作用は全く認められない。上述した実施例
の頭髪化粧料を、健常人25名に対してクローズド
パツチテストによる皮膚刺激性試験を行なつたと
ころ、結果はいずれも陰性であつた(陽性率0
%)。
この様に本発明にかかる頭髪化粧料はいずれも
