Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 技術分野 本発明は縦方向に複数個のドットピンを有する印字ヘッ
ドを横方向に移動させて印字を行うドツトシリアルプリ
ンタに関する。
従来技術 従来、この種のドツトシリアルプリンタは、特に上位装
置からの制御がない限り、縦方向に設けられた複数個の
ドットピンのうち決まったドットピンで横罫線の印字を
行っていた。すなわち、横罫線を印字するドットピンは
決まっている。したがって、作表などで使用頻度の高い
横罫線を印字するドットピンのみが機械的にも電気的に
も消耗が激しいという欠点があった。
発明の目的 したがって本発明の目的は、機械的にも電気的にも消耗
が激しいドットピンが特定のドットピンに集中しないド
ツトシリアルプリンタを提供することである。
発明の構成 本発明によれば、縦方向に複数個のドットピンを有する
印字ヘッドを横方向に移動させて印字を行うドツトシリ
アルプリンタであって、横罫線の印字を行う場合、各行
ごとに異なったドットピンで行うことを特徴とするドツ
トシリアルプリンタが得られる。
実施例 次に、本発明の一実施例を示した図面を参照して、本発
明をより詳細に説明する。
第１図を参照すると、本発明の一実施例においては、デ
ータ受信部１は受けた印字データを制御部２に送る。制
御部２は印字データ中に横罫線データの有無を認識し、
横罫線データがない場合は通常の印字を行うように紙送
り制御部３．印字ヘッド横送り制御部４及び印字機構部
５を制御する。
印字データ中に横罫線データが含まれる場合には、紙送
り制御部３．印字ヘッド横送り制御部４及び印字制御部
５を次のように制御する。まず、横罫線以外の印字を通
常の方法で印字する。次に通常の紙送りは行わず、縦方
向に設けられた複数個のドツトピンのうち前回の横罫線
印字に使用したドツトピンの次のドツトピンの位置が、
用紙上の横罫線の位置に合うように、紙送り制御部３を
制御する。今回の横罫線印字ドツトピンの位置に用紙上
の横罫線印字位置が合うと、横罫線印字が行われる。制
御部２は、横罫線を印字したドツトピンを次回の横罫線
データを受けるまで記憶してＪ５　＜。これにより次回
の横罫線の印字には、更に次のドツトピンが使用できる
。
横罫線の印字が終わると、次の行の通常印字が行えるよ
うに、紙送り制御を行う。次の行の印字データにも横罫
線データが含まれていれば、制御部に記憶されている前
回使用ドツトピンの次のドツトピンで横罫線の印字を行
う。このようにして横罫線データを受ける毎に、横罫線
を印字するドツトピン位置を順次変えるように制御され
る。
発明の詳細 な説明したように、本発明によれば、横罫線を印字する
ドツトピン位置を行ごとに変えて印字するように制御さ
れるので、横罫線印字による特定のドツトピンの機械的
、電気的消耗を軽減することができる。

  1. 縦方向に複数個のドットピンを有する印字ヘッドを横方
    向に移動させて印字を行うドットシリアルプリンタであ
    って、横罫線の印字を行う場合、各行ごとに異なったド
    ットピンで行うことを特徴とするドットシリアルプリン
    タ。
