Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はCFRP (C!arbon F’1ber 
Re1nforceaPlastic力−ボン繊維強化
プラスチック)と金属との接合方法に関する。CFRP
は強度が大きく軽量であるため、各種栴造物に用いて有
利であるが、例えば気密性を要する接合部等の複雑・精
密な形状とするには成形困難であり、又、途中に穴等を
取りつけると強度が低下してしまう。
しだがって、接合部等は金属を用いること、すなわちC
FRPと金属とを接合して用いることは複雑な形状ある
いは気密性を必要とする場合、非常に有利である。
〔従来の技術〕
本発明者らは上記に関し、主として(3FRPからなり
、接合部及び中間穴部に金属を用いた円筒殻の製造方法
において、上記接合部及び中間穴部の金属表面に複数の
ピン状突起を設け、該突起にカーボン繊維をからませな
がら積層成形する新規な方法を開発した。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
第3図は上記方法を説明する図であって、金属1の側に
円柱形状のピン2を成形し、カーボン繊維3をこの円柱
形状ピン2にからませてCFRPを成形する。4はシン
タクチックフオーム(樹脂系材料)である。
この方法によって、金属部分とCFRP部とを大きな接
合強度で接合できるが、この場合金属ピン2とOFRP
部の境界面は、この面でのせん断力に対し両者の接着強
度でもっている。
本発明の目的とするところは、上記方法のさらなる改良
によシ、境界面での接着強度のよシ向上した、有利な、
金属と0IFRPとの接合方法を提供するところにある
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明者らは、金属側に成形されるピンの形状を工夫す
るという簡単な手段によって、0IPRPと金属との接
合強度をよシ向上できることを見出し本発明に到達した
すなわち本発明は、CFRPと金属とのフィラメント・
ワインディング接合方法において、金属表面に成形した
ピン形状を先太にして、それKより接合強度を高めるこ
とを特徴とするC! FRPと金属との接合方法を提供
する。
以下図面に基いて説明する。
第1図は本発明のOFRPと金属との接合方法を説明す
る接合部分の断面図であって、図中1は金属部であり、
2は金属側に成形したピン、3はカーボン繊維である。
また4は剛性を増すためのシンタクチックフオーム(樹
脂材)である。
ここでピン2は先太(頭の大きい)の形状であって、カ
ーボン繊維をからませ成形すると、金属部ピン2が先太
であるため、ピン2とCIFRP3境界面のせん断荷重
に対して、よシ接合強度が強くできる。(接着強度にプ
ラスしてカーボン繊維の引張強度が加わる。) ピン2の形状としては、例えば第2図のfal〜(C)
に示すような先太(頭の大きい)の円錐あるいは角錐形
状でよいが、これに限定されるものではなく、要は先太
な形状であればよい。
なお、実用えあたっては、金属部ピン2にはあらかじめ
エポキシ系樹脂等の接着剤を塗布しておき、この上にエ
ポキシ系樹脂等をマトリックスとしたカーボン繊維を7
Δ法によシ成形し硬化させることで接合面の気密、強度
が保持できる。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明のOFRFと金属との接合方法は、金属とCFR
Pの境界面のせん断荷重に対して接合強度をよシ大きく
することができる方法であって、金属とCFRPを接合
して用りるすべでの製品に簡単に応用でき、強度向上に
効果大なる方法である。

  1. CFRPと金属とのフィラメント・ワインディング接合
    方法において、金属表面に成形したピン形状を先太にし
    て、それにより接合強度を高めることを特徴とするCF
    RPと金属との接合方法。
