Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は樹脂用熱融着棒に関する。
第1図に示す如く、基板1に樹脂柱2を植設す
る場合、樹脂柱2基端の小径部3を基板の孔より
突出せしめ、次いで斯る小径部3を加熱型の加圧
により点線の如く変形させて樹脂柱2を基板1に
融着している。

従来、斯る加熱加圧による熱融着に用いられる
熱融着棒は第2図に示す如く、銅製の柱体4の側
周面にニクロムヒータ5を巻回し、柱体4の端面
を樹脂の加熱加圧のための熱融着型(今の場合凹
面状)6に成形したものが一般的である。

然るに上記構造では、融着対象となる樹脂の溶
融温度が150℃以上の高温融着の場合には銅の酸
化腐食及び摩耗が著しく促進され、融着用型の当
初形状、寸法の変化が起り、融着後の形状が変
り、融着強度の低下が起きる等の品質上の問題が
発生していた。そのため、しばしば生産中におい
ても融着棒の交換又は再度の型のドレツシング等
の保守管理上の問題が発生し、大量生産には不向
きであつた。又近年、樹脂中にガラス、長石、石
英等を混ぜその機械的、電気的性質の改善を計つ
た樹脂の使用が著しく、これらの樹脂の熱溶着に
際してはその混入物であるガラス等により型の摩
耗が促進され益々熱溶着棒の寿命が短くなるとい
う問題も発生していた。このため、柱体4の材質
をステンレス等の耐熱鋼に変えることが試みられ
ているが、斯る場合、ステンレスの熱伝導性が悪
く、従つてヒータ5が大型になり、細かな作業に
は不向きであり、又銅ほどではないが、やはり酸
化腐食、摩耗の問題が存在する。
融温度が150℃以上の高温融着の場合には銅の酸
化腐食及び摩耗が著しく促進され、融着用型の当
初形状、寸法の変化が起り、融着後の形状が変
り、融着強度の低下が起きる等の品質上の問題が
発生していた。そのため、しばしば生産中におい
ても融着棒の交換又は再度の型のドレツシング等
の保守管理上の問題が発生し、大量生産には不向
きであつた。又近年、樹脂中にガラス、長石、石
英等を混ぜその機械的、電気的性質の改善を計つ
た樹脂の使用が著しく、これらの樹脂の熱溶着に
際してはその混入物であるガラス等により型の摩
耗が促進され益々熱溶着棒の寿命が短くなるとい
う問題も発生していた。このため、柱体4の材質
をステンレス等の耐熱鋼に変えることが試みられ
ているが、斯る場合、ステンレスの熱伝導性が悪
く、従つてヒータ5が大型になり、細かな作業に
は不向きであり、又銅ほどではないが、やはり酸
化腐食、摩耗の問題が存在する。
本考案は上記の点に鑑みてなされたもので、以
下第3図乃至第5図に示す実施例につき本考案を
説明する。

本実施例熱融着棒は円柱状のセラミツク柱体1
0、該柱体のほゞ全周側を取り巻くセラミツクシ
ート11、柱体10とシート11との間に位置
し、柱体10を密着的に取り巻くヒータ12、柱
体10の先端面を凹面状に成形した熱融着型13
及び、シート11の基端附近にてヒータ12と電
気的に連なるリード線14,14から構成されて
おり、リード線14,14を通じてヒータ12に
通電すると、該ヒータの位置する柱体10の先端
附近が特に加熱され、先端の型は樹脂の熱融着に
適した温度となる。

セラミツク柱体10は純度96%のアルミナ焼結
体からなり、斯る柱体はビツカース硬度1600Kg/
mm2とサフアイアなみの極めて高い硬度をもち、又
高温時にも全く酸化されず更に優れた熱伝導性を
示す。セラミツクシート11は0.5mm程度の厚さ
を有し、同様のアルミナ焼結体からなり、ヒータ
12はタングステン系抵抗塗料の焼結体からな
る。尚、ヒータ12の両端は柱体10の周側面に
沿つて柱体の基端附近まで延び、セラミツクシー
ト11の貫通孔を通じてリード線14,14に接
続されている。

上記熱融着棒の製造方法を簡単に述べると、ま
ずアルミナ粉末とバインダとを練つた軟質のセラ
ミツク柱体10を準備する。このとき柱体10の
先端には型13が形成されている。一方、同様に
軟質のセラミツクシート11の平面状態のものを
作り、該シート面に所定のパターンで抵抗塗料か
らなるヒータ12を印刷したものを準備する。然
る後、上記柱体10の周側面に上記セラミツクシ
ート11を密着巻きし、全体を焼成すれば硬質の
柱体10、シート11がヒータ12を挾んで強固
に結合した状態となり、次いでリード線14,1
4を付着すれば熱融着棒が完成する。

に優れた長寿命の熱融着棒が得られ、大量生産に
おける熱融着が高品質で行え、又熱融着棒の保守
も容易になり、更には柱体の熱伝導がよいのでヒ
ータ配置も少なく、従つて熱融着棒の小型化が図
れ、細かい作業にも適したものとなる。

Claims (1)
- 硬質かつ良熱伝導性のセラミツク柱体の端面を
樹脂の熱融着型に成形すると共に、上記柱体の、
周側面をセラミツクシートで取り巻き、上記柱体
とセラミツクシートとの間において、上記柱体を
上記端面に接近して取り巻くヒータを設けたこと
を特徴とする樹脂用熱融着棒。
