Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 消毒力、細胞固定の防腐力の特性を存したま＼でのホル
マリンからそれの脱臭に関する発明である。
ホルマリンを固定し例えばフェノールやユリア或いはメ
ラミンと反応させて有用な合成樹脂を得る工業的原料剤
とする他、医療衛生面での防腐。
消毒用として直接この液中に浸漬し、或いは散布、また
気化可能の状態においてホルマリンガスを発散させて防
腐や消毒の効果を果させる等に用いられるが、このガス
利用に当って特に強烈な特有の異臭には甚だ悩まされる
ものである。
そこで、その防腐、消毒の特性を存したま−でホルマリ
ンからその異臭を除去した無臭ホルマリンとでも云うべ
き新たな薬剤を提供しようとするものである。
以下ホルマリンへの添加剤とその混合量等について詳細
に説明する。
ホルマリンに添加した薬剤の種々な組合せの混合比と除
臭効果の関係について、実験例に基づき表示して説明す
る。
第１表 表示中のＸ印は不溶（白濁）。
△　は微量のサリチル酸メチルの遊離が見られた。
○　は可溶し臭分殆んどなし。

第２表 第３表 なお、上記６表における実験において１本来の効果であ
る細胞固定の能力効果、従って防腐消毒力を損失してい
ないものであることは勿論の前提要件である。
上記の６表を通じ、１）完全除臭○印もしくけ殆んど脱
臭△印する場合であること。　２）ホルマリンに対する
他剤の混合量が極力少く従って１定量のホルマリンに対
し少量の添加剤で最高の脱臭効果が得られるデーターは
、第１表のＡ）欄のもので、次点として第３表における
Ｂ）とＣ）欄の場合と見られるから、態様項で上記Ａ）
欄に基づく混合比の場合をとりあげ、それを態様項で請
求した。但しこれらの混配合による内部化学変化及び脱
臭ホルマリンが生成される理論、過程については未詳で
ある。
このような実験結果にもとづき、ホルマリン９．９ｍｌ
に対しエタノールを約８％、サリチル酸メチルを０．１
ｍｌの割合で添加かくはん等すると、完全又は殆んど異
臭を感ぜず、しかも防腐、消毒剤としての特性を失わな
い脱臭されたホルマリンが得られるので、好ましからざ
る異臭、これの無い比較的安価なホルマリンは腐臭排除
や防腐、消毒用に等その用途拡大に大いに寄与するとこ
ろとなろう。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １　局方ホルマリンにサリチル酸メチル及びエタノール
    もしくはメタノールを混合し完全に溶解させてホルマリ
    ンからその臭気を除去させた脱臭ホルマリン。 ２　上記の混合比をホルマリンｉｌｌ、９＋ｒ＋１に対
    しサリチル酸メチルをｏ、　１ｍｌ　及び局方エタノー
    ルを０，７乃至０，８ｍｌとした特許請求の範囲第１項
    に記載の脱臭ホルマリン。
